2. Purpose The purpose of the project is to design to help DaimlerChrysler sell jeeps. I have been asked to design posters or brochures parents who want to buy a car to safely drive their children to and from school. I will be focussing on the target audience and examine their attitudes, needs, wants and constraints that they may face.
3. Target Audience The target audience for my project are parents who want to buy a vehicle to drive their children to and from school. Their main concerns are child safety and comfort.
4. Audience Evaluation Attitudes -The target audience are looking for a vehicle which is safe and comfortable and efficient to run. Needs -Child safety, good control,space Constraints -Costs eg petrol, repairs, insurance. Here we will examine the needs, wants and constraints the audience may face when buying a car.
5. Ideas Ideas that will work well: Emphasis on the positives such as child safety, comfort and control. Ideas that won’t work: Portrayal of the jeep as a vehicle to be used recklessly eg speeding.
