SUMMARY:
The person in this position is responsible for evaluating the corporate’s climate by studying employee
behaviour, productivity, and attitudes. The person will provide training and guidance to leadership,
management, and team members. Moreover, he/she will collaborate with corporate leadership to evaluate
workplace behaviour, create policies, direct training sessions, and develop company strategy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
On the job, the person is expected to:
• Use psychological research in the workplace.
• Help businesses hire qualified employees.
• Train and motivate the labour force.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources Department.
• Provide a consultative role in the organization.

• Aid with corporate transitions, such as mergers and staff realignment.
• Research consumer behaviour.

• REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
• Ph.D. and at least 5 years of experience in I/O Psychology. Other areas of psychology will be considered,
including Health Psychology, Space Psychology, Aviation Psychology, Behavioural Medicine.
• Expertise in psychometrics and measurement, such as developing, validating, and implementing assessment
and measurement tools and processes, test construction.
• Human research experience in areas relevant to behavioural health and performance, such as resilience and
stress tolerance, emotion regulation, personality.
• Prior experience in an applied, highly dynamic or operational environment.
• SKILLS/TRAINING:
• Possess a broad understanding of behavioural health and performance outcomes for individuals to function
effectively in extreme or dynamic operational environments.
4. • Proven track record of research proposal preparation and execution of funded studies.
• Highly skilled in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data using both qualitative and quantitative
approaches.
• Proficiency with software tools including MS Office, R and SPSS.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate/coordinate across multiple scientific or operational disciplines in
preparing research or project plans.
• Proven ability to apply research methodology in a manner that provides operational customers with
implementable solutions.
• Successful project management experience; coordinating complex activities, cross-discipline approaches
and schedules per a defined timeline.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with varied audiences, including various levels of management,
internationals, scientists, medical professionals and engineers.
• Skilled at diplomacy/relationship building.
