1) The Sambayanihan project aims to transform Nayong Pilipino into an urban forest and biodiversity hub through greening initiatives and community engagement activities over a 3-year period.
2) The initial phase will develop an interim park for native tree propagation and a park ranger station. A linear forest park along the periphery will provide inclusive public spaces.
3) The long term vision is for Nayong Pilipino to become a recognized center of research, innovation, and training on cultural heritage and conservation through a participatory, restorative, and experiential urban forest design approach over the next 10 years.
