The document outlines the manufacturing process of a refrigerator. It discusses the raw materials used, pre-assembly steps like door assembly and fitting, post-assembly steps like fitting the compressor, condenser, and evaporator, testing procedures like cooling and leakage tests, and finishing operations like packaging and storage of the finished products. The presentation was given by three students to discuss what they learned about refrigerator manufacturing during a factory visit.
9. POST ASSEMBLY
Compressor Fitting
Usually hermetically sealed
reciprocating type with proper sealing
compressor is used.
The function of a compressor in a
VCRS is to continuously draw the
refrigerant vapour from the
evaporator, so that a low pressure and
low temperature can be maintained in
the evaporator.
10. Condenser
connection
POST ASSEMBLY
This heat exchanger is fitted
outside the refrigerator.
Here, vapor will get condensed
to liquid and temperature will
come down to normal level.
11. Evaporator
Connection
POST ASSEMBLY
The Evaporator is a heat
exchanger required to carry the
cold refrigerant over the body.
Here, the refrigerant further
evaporates and transforms into
pure vapor .
23. This presentation is about “Manufacturing process of
refrigerator” in International appliance limited. This
company does also have other products in present market
like as air conditioner ,washing machine ,television and
microwave oven. After completing the visit in the industry
we have been able to learn the whole manufacturing
process related to refrigerator.
