Teaching methods
Method is a style of presentation of content in classroom.
Method is directly related to the presentation of the lesson.
Which a teacher should use ,depends on the nature of the
subject ,and the tact of the teacher.
 According to Broudy ‘method refers to the formal
structure of the sequence of acts commonly denoted by
instruction.

STRATEGY
Teaching strategy is the means to achieve learning
objectives.
According E.Stones and S.Morris teaching strategy is a
generalized plan for a lesson which incudes structure
,desired learner behaviour in terms of goals, instruction and
outline and planned tactics, necessary to implement the
strategy
Types of strategy
Types of strategies depends on the nature of
organization of human activities. Teaching strategies
are divided into two types
• Teacher centred
• Teacher exercises full control over students,they are
given least chance to act freely.
• They can do what they are allowed to do
These strategies are child centred
• Interest ,capacities ,attitudes, needs, of learners are
taken to account
• Both students and teachers are equally active
• Purpose all round develop of the learners
• Teachers work as helper and guide.
