1. Ext. Streets & bombs
'Green Band Trailer' insert. Immediately after stock footage of riots and looting in the streets
plays, footage of nuclear bomb tests usher an apocalyptic vibe.
Non-diegetic ominous music (Escape by Tom Holkenborg (Mad Max) starts. 'Universal' and
'PotatoSaLAD Pictures' logo intro.
The M.A.D Theory states that full-scale use of nuclear weapons of opposing forces will result
in complete annihilation.
INSERT SHOT -
An insert shot of a sign saying ‘The end is near' flicks between 'near' and 'neat'.
The resulting environment will be left in ruins. Society will turn to chaos. Those that survived
the onslaught will be forced to repopulate and the offspring will emerge as the new
generation. Without modern ideals the new generation will be a shell of the previous.
Crescendo of Escape by Tom Holkenborg.
Start of Logos with non-diegetic music (Daydream by Günter Kallmann Chor) starting at
0:12.
Ext. Middle of nowhere (skab) - daY
HIGH ANGLE establishing shot -
Shot starts with the burnt flower in a pot, pans over to see trash on the ground. With a further
pan to the right we see a dead person sprawled out on the ground. We then see a bandit taking
the possessions from the deceased guy. The long-shot tilts and pans upward to see the bandit
pick up the last of the dead guy's possessions and then scamper off.
Then at a suitable time into Daydream -
LEADER OF UNTITLED GANG (v.O.)
(Concerned) Damn! That's the seventeenth one this
week. We really need to teach these guys somethin'
Continued from the long-shot established prior, in a wide-shot we see the bandit running
away and inadvertently getting blown up by a mine on the ground.
RANDOM (V.O.)
You ever hear about those guys further east? They used
to make learning videos, maybe you can make them do
somethin' for you. I think it was Lenny and Rodney?..
The camera pans 90 degrees to the right and reveals the apocalyptic landscape of Skab -
including another sign guy; "Will work for Netflix account".
EXT. MIDDLE OF NOWHERE (SKAB)
2. Lenny and Rodney, pop up into a WIDE-SHOT. Lenny on the left front, Rodney on the right
slightly behind him. And start to run away from the camera. Guy in background with sign;
“What is song at 2:56?”
Rodney (V.O.)
(Confused)
Wait, so you want a video.
INT. Untitled gang/east sector hideout - day
RODNEY (CONT'D)
(Confused)
Of how not to die and for surviving in the wasteland?
Daydream reaches a suitable end.
LEADer of untitled gang
Exactly. My men keep getting themselves killed and
they need to know how to not.
Shallow focus between the leader and the people behind him. The guy behind him is
uncontrollably discharging his weapon. With other people running away.
Lenny and Rodney look at each other then back at the leader. The leader turns and with a
FOCUS PULL shoots the guy discharging his weapon.
LENNY
Yeah, Rod! We can show how neat nature is instead of
me and you already knowing it!
Burning Down The House by Talking Heads starts at 0:18. An insert of text says; 'How neat
will you go'. And then another that reads; 'To save the world?'.
EXT. MIDDLE OF NOWHERE (SKAB)
Found footage -
LENNY
Are you getting this?
RODNEY
(scrambles the camera)
Yeah we sure are, go, action!
LENNY
Hey bandits! (picks up some dirt) Ok this is radiated
dirt. Can you see that? You can tell that it's radiated
because of the way it is. Now don't eat it, or you'll turn
into something not very neeaa-neat! Like this dead
person I collected earlier.
INSERT SHOT of the deceased guy.

3. LENNY(CONT'D)
Now, there is a way of removing the radiation from the
dirt just by taking a plannt-
Music pauses while Lenny grabs a nearby plant and struggles to pull it out of the ground,
until he pulls really hard and in a MID/CLOSE UP HIGH ANGLE SHOT ends up falling
backwards and getting a mouthful of dirt. This is continued into a WIDE TWO SHOT.
LENNY(CONT'D)
(With dirt still in his mouth)
Agghhhh!!!! Rodneyy!!!
A CLOSE-UP of Rodney shows his immediate concern. Then in a WIDE-SHOT it shows
both of them to be shouting. Music resumes for a short time where Lenny and Rodney are
still panicking. An insert of the title 'Neature Walk' couples a suitable ending of the song.
Then the insert of the word 'Soon'.
