running away, shortly before being blown up by a mine (VFX). Camera pans 90 degrees to the right
and reveals the apocalyptic landscape of Skab. Matte background of image edited in After Effects.
Mental state of characters can be represented through shots angles, lighting and mise en scene.' Tilt
and pan off Stephen running after taking dead Bradley’s belongings, emphasizes the desperate state
and fear in the world.

‘Lenny!, Rodney!’ The two… ‘heroes’ are fleeing from some undesirables in a shallow focus wide
shot that uses a focus pull to show the distance between the heroes and the villains.
Cut to conversation between Lenny & Rodney and leader. Low angle of the leader of the gang, this
promotes the idea of power. He needs to represented as the strongest character in the room. This
means that slight high angles of the protagonists will be used to show they are weaker than him (shot
reverse shot). Lenny has power over Rodney so should be kept on the left side of the shot/reverse shot
and on the 1st vertical line of the rule of thirds.
Something funny occurring behind the leader? A henchman of the leaders loses control of their sub-

the harsh environment, in very stupid ways. Lenny and Rodney create the PSA,and they are
inadvertently bogus.
