I transferred departments for a pay raise. My currentjob title is Engineering Aide IV. My
duties are to inspect street repairs. They budget one million dollars for repairs in five
districts. I take the measurements on all repair sites and make surethe work being done is
on budget. I also use an auto level to shootgrades to make surethe rain water flows in the
proper direction and keep water frompooling in new street panels. I makesureall work is
done to contract specifications for optimal quality. I spend more time on paperwork then
actually physicalwork. I prefer to stay busy and am a hands on person. I’vespentmostof
my working life outdoors in all types of weather.
2. Bossier City Public Utilities (Dec. 2014 –Dec. 2015)
I went to Bossier for more opportunities and advancement. Started as a laborer, then
equipment operator, then promoted to foreman of a five man crew. We repaired water
leaks, unclogged sewer services and mains with a jetter truck, repaired sewer mains, and
rehabbed manholes. I kept inventory on all tools and parts. I made sureall repairs were
done in a safe and timely manner. Also made sureall tools and equipment wereproperly
maintained.
Town of Blanchard (Apl. 2008-Nov. 2014)

I have been lead operator for over 5 years with trained employees under me. Safety is my
utmost concern. I havedone multiple jobs for the town over the pastsix years fromwaste
water repairs, locating infiltration, repairing numerous leaks, Remolding the shop and using
a multitude of power tools. I took responsibility for running the wastewater treatment
facility after obtaining state certifications. I was responsible for all mainenance on aerators,
brush rotor, clarifiers, and keeping accurate records as required by the state. I pulled
samples of effluent as required by the state twice a month. Itwas an activated sludge
plant with a holding pond and clarifiers. I kept the plant operating under state and federal
guidelines. We passed all DEQ inspections while I was employed there. I have outstanding
problems solving skills and very well versed in hydraulics and mechanical properties. I
know I would be a great asset if given a chance.

the bestof my abilities. I took a pay cut to go to work atthe Town of Blanchard for better
insuranceopportunities and being closer to home to help with gas. I excelled at AutoZone

I operated stand up fork lifts and cherry pickers. My main goal in everything I do is safety.
I unloaded 53 ft. tractor trailers, performed quality checks, stocked, and loaded outbound
trucks. My production ran between 99.8% to 115 % on a regular basis. I enjoyed working
there. I had extensive time and training on various types of forklifts. Also various trained
courses on safety while using equipment. I moved up there after high schooland it got to
the point the hours became shortand it was hard to pay the bills. I decided to move back
home with wife and child.
