Jurgensen Household, ​My Home — ​Babysitter

I have been helping take care of my three siblings since my first younger
sibling was born in 2003. I have taken care of my siblings and other
young family members since I was very young. This includes cleaning
them, and the house, feeding them, and solving problems. This
experience has taught me how to be responsible, reliable, careful, kind,
a problem solver, and how to handle people. I have taken care of
children from the ages of five month olds all the way to thirteen year
olds. I am great with children and very responsible because of this.
Dog walking, Antelope ​— ​Dog Walker
September 2015 - September 2016
I was walking my neighbors dog for pay. I would take care of the dog
and make sure she was okay. I had to be responsible for another life
because the dog was dependent on being able to get outside and walk. I
took very good care of her and did what was expected from me and
more. I walked the dog around the specified area by the owner. I had to
make sure the dog used the restroom and clean up after it. I took
responsibility for it's safety and I feed her when needed. I enjoy working
with dogs.
North Highlands Youth Soccer Club, Sacramento​-
Volunteer
August 2016
I volunteered at the Youth Soccer Club in August to fill my high school
graduation requirement for community service. While there I made sure
people were not on the soccer fields and helped set up the area. I set up
tents and tables and carried heavy extension cords. When I was finished
with that I did face painting for the kids at the event. I worked with the
kids for five hours and did not take a break until after that. After my
break I went around cleaning up the fields, picking up flags and cones,
picking up garbage, and selling stickers. I even helped look for a
mother's missing child that was found.

2. Super Chicken Man, Stockton​- Server
July 2012
The owner of the business is a family friend that my family and I have
known for a few years. A few times in July I went to Stockton to help
him with the catering. I was a server at an event we went to. I took
people's orders and served them food. I took the payment and gave back
change. I restocked the food and went around promoting the food. At
another event I was holding the sign for Super Chicken Man on the
corner advertising the food for cars driving by.
EDUCATION
Center High School, ​Antelope — ​High School Diploma
August 2013 - May 2017
I will have completed my four years of high school at Center High. I had
Honors English my ninth grade year. I had Honors English and Honors
Modern World History for a semester my tenth grade year. I am
currently taking AP Literature my twelfth grade year. I was on the
Center High School softball team my ninth and tenth grade year. I
participated in my school's Spanish club my ninth and eleventh grade
year. I have taken the classes Spanish one through three and I am
currently in Spanish four. I have taken Dance for a year and a half and I
am currently finishing my second year. I usually have a grade average of
a B or C.
