Dear Kris:
I would like to thank you for reading my letter and considering me for the position of teacher’s
assistant. I learned about the position from my teacher Angeline. She told me you were looking
for a teacher’s assistant.
I am a responsible person. I have a lot of knowledge and experience to bring to the job, but I am
open to learning new things. I enjoy helping them learn and grow so they can be successful in
life.
I am going to Ridgewater College for the A. A. S. Degree in the Educational Assistance program.
I have interned at a couple of daycares. The two major rooms I helped in, was toddlers and
preschoolers. I have helped with projects, activities, letters and spelling of the children’s names.
I also helped with cleaning. Since November 2014, I have been a Director of Infants and
Toddlers for Celebrate Recovery. With the infants and toddlers, I would interact with them, fed
them, changed diapers or helped them in the bathroom if they were toilet trained and cleaned
up after them. In high school, I worked with children that had Autism and read books.
I would like to take what I learned in the classroomand use it in a workplace environment. I
would appreciate the opportunity for an interview at your convenience. You can reach me at
651-210-8176 after 9:00am. I would like to thank you again for reading my letter and
considering me for the position of teacher’s assistant.
Sincerely,
Holly Turner
