To whom it may concern:
If your company is filling a supervisory or management position that requires
a bi-lingual professional with great people skills, may I recommend Marlon
Ruiz.
I am a retired industrial engineer with over 40 years experience in production
operations, and a short time ago; I had the opportunity to work on a
consulting project in the facility where Marlon worked. This was a start-up
operation, so there were many challenges. Marlon stood out as calm and
professional under extreme pressure. The customers being served by this
facility were very demanding yet had wild swings in demand, so it frequently
went from not enough work to overwhelming, far exceeding the plant
capacity. Working in these conditions was often frustrating for both
employees and management. Marlon consistently showed his management
skills as he responded to constant changes, employee turnover, need to train
new operators, frustrated employees, demanding customers, etc., all the
things you would expect to occur in a start-up. He showed great loyalty to
himself, his company, his bosses, his employees, his customers, and his
objectives. He was very astute in analyzing situations, identifying and
resolving problems, and responding to the very demanding conditions. He
was unwavering in understanding what needed to be done, assuming
responsibility for leading his people, scheduling employees to meet planned
goals, and building confidence in those who needed someone to keep them
focused in very trying conditions. His operational skills and aptitude enabled
him to keep many balls in the air, while building the skill levels of his team so
they could constantly improve their productivity. He exceeded expectations
and was often seen helping other operations in the process that were
adversely impacting his area of responsibly. Marlon is a quick learner and
would be an asset to any company that needs capable, dedicated, skilled,
focused, team building management people.
