1: Introduction and Scope:
 Customer wants to increase the redundancy of the existing pump configuration to
ensure the reliability and continuity.
 The existing E-pumps have a capacity of 4 * 25% (25% = about 250 m3 / h) which is
to be increased to 4 * 50% (50% = about 500 m3 / h).
 The pumps, foundation and the dimensioning of the connecting piping should be
adjusted accordingly.
 Thereby the customer also wants to optimize the routing of the piping. Building a new
pumpstation in the "green field is considered to be the best option selection so the
24/7 production proces will not be bothered.

 Design of a new pump arrangement in the greenfield including, civil works, pipe
connections and related pipe stress calculations.
 Design of the pipeline routing including supports.
 Design of platforms for the operation and control of valves around the pumps.

 Safety (during construction and operation)
 Surveying existing installations or environment (unambiguous reference measurement
bolt)
 Design process:
 Identifying available space (Plot Space).
 Pump Operation and leadership course determine.
 Elaborate in PDMS. .
 Discuss with project and process any changes to yield result.
 Place installation and tests (strength vents, drains, flushing).
 Ease of operation, maintenance and inspection (accessibility, secure, DBB)
