    condition
  – To maintain the supply of water,
    irrigation is done

• Ornamental Plants
  – Plants are covered with pest.
  – It is possible for some pest to be
    treated
• Large-Scale Crops
  – The pesticide sprayed will kill all the
    insects
Supply of Minerals

• Ornamental Plant
  – Plants can be monitored for mineral
    defiance
• Large-Scale Crop production
  – Due to the high concentration of soluble
    mineral salt, artificial mineral salts
    are used to increase yield
Consequence of using artificial
          fertilizer
• Advantage
  – Minerals are obtained by the plant
    quickly
  – Yielding is high
• Disadvantage
  – After a prolonged use of the fertilizer,
    yielding decrease
  – The texture of the soil change and land
    must be rested in between the plants
Consequence of Hydroponics

• Advantage
  – The amount of minerals can be controlled
  – Yielding is high
  – There is no pest problems as the plants
    are not in the soil
• Disadvantage
  – The set-up of hydroponics is expensive
  – There are some plants that cannot be
    grown in this method
