PRODUCT LOGISTICS:
I coordinated process of labels elaboration for launching of the products: Duoderm Border
(Wound Care); Pediatric Urine Collectors (Incontinence); Pediatric presentations for Active
Life Urostomy and Ostomy Pouches and Convex Inserts, in half of required time.
I coordinated conversion process of 4,000 MKU’s of Active Life government presentation,
to Active Life, commercial presentation, in order to minimize negative impact due to a
contest cancellation.
I developed a monthly program of products conditioning which reduced conditioning time
from 1-2 months to 1-3 weeks.
I coordinated process to get registration before Ministry of Health of new strategic products:
of Ostomy, Wound Care and Incontinence Lines.
NAFTA: With the purpose of getting savings corresponding to proper tariff numbers
classification, I elaborated a product list with the correct tariff numbers for all our products,
in coordination with BMS custom agent. This list was provided to ConvaTec Headquarters
and the Greensboro Plant.
INVENTORIES MANAGEMENT:
I reduced back orders from $24,061.01 dollars (February, 98) to ZERO (December 18, 98).
I reduced overstock through exportations to other markets and returns to the Plants. The value
of these exportations from June to November 98 was about $147,617.05 dollars (FOB cost).
