5. Where We Are
Piedmont is in the northwestern part of Italy that borders France.
Thanks to its geographic position, Piedmont is blessed with a unique agricultural
biodiversity that makes its red wines (Barolo, Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Barbaresco) very
special.
In addition, Piedmontese cuisine ranks among the finest in Italy, so it’s no coincidence
that Piedmont is the home of the Slow Food Movement.
6. Villa Mascarello
Our guests, or student chefs, stay at Villa Mascarello as part of the perCorsi culinari
package.
Villa Mascarello is an 18th century villa that was lovingly restored in 2006 to preserve its
original external appearance while providing modern amenities inside.
7. Villa Mascarello
The Villa includes eight double occupancy rooms with private bathrooms, two large
outdoor balconies with views of the surrounding countryside, an indoor porch for
relaxing, and a large patio for socializing.
In addition to lodging, Villa Mascarello serves as the location for the hands-on cooking
classes as well as most evening dinners.
8. Cooking School
Over the course of your culinary vacation, you will attend a variety of cooking classes
focused on local foods. Our groups are small so you will experience an intimate and
supportive atmosphere.
Our culinary vacation is about much more than just food and cooking. Our vacations
focus on introducing you to Italian life through a strong sense of family, lots of laughter,
and a lot of fun!
9. Cooking School
PerCorsi takes every opportunity to immerse you into the warm Italian culture. We
introduce you to Northern Italian cuisine with a focus on Piedmontese dishes through
hands-on cooking lessons as well as daily excursions.
Our mission is to create lifelong memories and bonds through smiles and stories, wines
and cheeses, and small town hospitality!
