SAP Safety remembrance Permit with ipmd

Automatic assignment of safety Permit in Maintenance order
Business Specific safety requirement:
When anyone is going to work in Acid application or corrosive chemical
application related equipments,they should get clearance from authorized safety
persons
Process:
1.Creation of permit with safety category using Transaction code-ipmd
After entering into tcode,you will get the following screen,which are all already
created permits for different purposes.Now we have to create the new permit.So
click on Create/Change icon as in the below screen

After click the create/change icon,you will get the following screen,there click the
new entries button to create the new permit

Fill all the required details as below

Select the Option 2 in the below screen to prevent the order release before the
issue of Permit

Leave the blank for order completion,choose any class..

Save the permit.Now the Safety permit created
2.Now the created safety permit is to be assigned to the Master data of Particular
Acid application equipment.So go to tcode-IE02

After click the permits as in the above screen,you will get the following screen….

Click on drop-down icon as in the highlighted section above,you will get the
following screen

Now click the checkbox of required safety permit created above previously

Press enter in the above screen,after the permits get assigned

Click the Proposal highlighted checkbox as in the above screen and press enter

Then save the equipment
3.Now the maintenance person need to do some work in Acid transfer pump,so
he is creating maintenance order using tcode-IW31

Fill the components and operations required based upon the job requirement
Click on the permit icon as highlighted below,
The safety permit automatically assigned to the Maintenance order,which is to be
issued before the work execution

If Maintenance person try to release the order,will get error message as
below….and order release is not possible before permit issue by authorized safety
person

So he has to save the order and wait for the safety person to issue the permit

4.Then after checked all the safety precautions and safety measures taken by the
Miantenance person,Safety person will issue the permit as below using order
list,or tcode-IW32

Select the permit as below and click in the issue permit icon in the bottom of
below screen.So permit will get issued

Now the Maintenance person can release the order,so he can print the Material
list,issue the material from stores and start the work safely as followed the
instruction of safety person

Save the order
