*** Water and soap.
*** Vaseline.
*** Bowl.

7. How to manage it?
1**prepare the tools and equipment.
2** calm and reassure the patient and then
transferred to a shaded area.

3** seat the patient erected with
his head lean a little forward.
4** ask the person to breath
through his mouth.
5** apply pressure on the nose
portion which directly under the
nose bone, the firm part of it. For
10 continuous minutes by the
index and the thumb

6** apply cold compresses on the
nose and continue applying
pressure on the nose. If the
bleeding did not stop ,continue
pressing for another ten minutes

stops put a gauze filled
with Vaseline in the
nostril to moisture it
from inside.

nose for at least 4 hours, and
tell him to relax and don’t
strain himself so bleed
doesn’t come back again.

nosebleed lasted more
than twenty minutes or
the amount of significant
bleeding.

14. How to prevent nosebleed?
** there are many thing that we can do to prevent
nosebleed:
1 – clean the nose gently .
2 – don’t expose for sunlight for along priods.
3 – don’t insert sharp objectes in the nose.
4 – visit the doctor in case of inflammation ar recurrence
of nosebleed.
5 – moisturize the nose with Vaseline or other moisturizing
agents.
