Nosebleed is the flow of
blood from one hole or
from the nostrils, a result
of the rupture of the
capillaries in the thin
lining of the nose.

*** Cloth towel or gauze.
*** Water and soap.
*** Vaseline.
*** Bowl.
*** Cold water

1**prepare the tools and equipment.
2** calm and reassure the patient and then
transferred to a shaded area.

4** ask the person to breath
through his mouth.

nose bone, the firm part of it. For

pressure on the nose. If the
bleeding did not stop ,continue
pressing for another ten minutes

nose for at least 4 hours, and
tell him to relax and don’t
strain himself so bleed

than twenty minutes or
the amount of significant

14. How to prevent nosebleed?
** there are many thing that we can do to prevent
nosebleed:
1 – clean the nose gently .
2 – don’t expose for sunlight for along priods.
3 – don’t insert sharp objectes in the nose.
4 – visit the doctor in case of inflammation ar recurrence
of nosebleed.
5 – moisturize the nose with Vaseline or other moisturizing
agents.
