2. • Smartphones have been in the market since
1993. But they were just available for important
people, with lots of money because their price
was certainly high.
3. • Forgetting about that kind of funny name, we are allowed to
say that this was the very first try of a Smartphone.
• It had a touchscreen, you were allowed to send emails, write
notes, use it as a fax machine and also play games!
• The only problem that this little machine had was the size
and the weight, it was almost like holding a brick.
4. • Palm Treo 600 was released to the market after the Nokia
9110 Communicator and the BlackBerry 5810, 9110 and 5810
were not really Smartphones, but they helped to have new
ideas about how Smartphones should be.
• Palm Treo was the first Smartphone made by the company
Palm. They showed it in 2003.
5. • And here we are, to talk about one of the
most known Smartphones, of all the time.
The I- Phone.
It was released in 2007 by the company Apple.
• Hundreds of them were sold, most of them
because it counted with faster Internet and
the awesome design of the touchscreen.
6. • In that same year, Google presented a new
Smartphone as well, although it was not really a
Smartphone, it was a new OS (Operative Sistem)
called Android.
As it was expected, in that year people were
more focused in the I- Phone, so Android wasn’t a
big new.
Both of them, Android and I- Phone had a
promising future.
7. • Now, as we all know they’ve been trying to
overcome each other with incredible
improvements.
8. We could say that today, with all the
improvements Smartphones have done they
are like little computers.
They are not just some others ordinary
mobile phones, they make our life easier
with all the applications they have available.
