- 1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting the project manager and coordinating the project management team for development of
a project management plan.
• Assisting the project manager to implement and control the project management plan.
• Assisting the project manager on stakeholder and interface management of the project.
• Assisting the project manager on management of project delivery system and contractual issues.
• Coordination, control and follow‐up of discipline lead Engineers activities and follow up of
documents circulation in review and verification steps.
• Deliver engineering documents according to schedule requirements with input and participation of
Project Planner(s).
• Manage technical interfaces with Client, joint ventures, and licensors and manage technical
coordination of interfaces and discrepancies with lead engineers.
• Coordinate engineering activities with Procurement, Subcontracts, Construction and
Commissioning.
• Provide engineering and document support to Construction and Commissioning on technical
matters.
• Assistance in determination of project risks and conducting risk analysis leading to development of
risk response plan for the project.
• Assistance in integrated project change management to assure the integrity of project plan.
• Transmitting to all disciplines the necessary documents for the performance of their work as well
as all relevant instructions related to the scope of contract throughout the Project execution phase.
• Arrangement of regular meetings with project lead engineers, procurement assigned staff and
project team
• Determine the project document coding and circulation procedure and inform all the engineering
disciplines and vendors.
• Prepare the project document format and circulation procedure and inform all the engineering
disciplines and vendors.
• Coordination with project planning staff to determine documents status and inform all the
engineering disciplines and vendors.
• Controlling document control center of project (DCC) to prevent any problem in document
circulation.
• Take part in vendor bid analysis and in preparation of bid tabulations if necessary.
•Take part, if necessary, in negotiations or technical clarifications with suppliers.
• Assistance in preparation of tender package of project.
• Approval of the following documents: ‐ Parts of project schedule related to engineering services, ‐
Engineering document list
• Coordination with planning department in preparation of a setup of physical and man‐hour
progress control system,
