Description : The Broadcom BCM4355xx/BCM4357xx is a high-end 2x2 MIMO solution for high
performance smartphones, 11ac solution and is backward compatible with 802.11 b/g/a/n devices. These
chips support low power modes to optimize battery life.
Responsibilities:
- Involved in testing new feature such as 3 point RSSI test of p2p.
- Performed Sanity/Engineering tests on latest firmware with high priority with 100% accuracy in
results.
- Active involvements in debugging issues and provide the dev. team the exact sequence to
reproduce the issue.

securities in different modes with different vendor Access Points.
- Preparing the list of fixes between subsequent firmware releases.
- Part of optimization team to reduce the run time in the test scripts.
- Performed power save tests to check power consumption.
Project 4: BCM4324xx/4345x/4350xx/4355xx/4357xx –NewFeatures- P2P(AWDL) Rate vs Range,
Multiclient IOT, Timesync, DFS proxy master,NAN
Duration : Jan’ 2016 to till date
Description : DRI for various new features testing for the market Existing and new Broadcom chips
mentioned above
- 802.11ac is pioneering a multiuser form of MIMO that enables an access point (AP) to send to
multiple clients at the same time.
- AWDL is an ad-hoc peer to peer protocol allowing peer to peer multicast and unicast data frame
exchanges which works simultaneously with infrastructure and p2p.
- AWDL RVR – The rate vs range p2p test at various rssi levels.
- Multiclient Iot – The complete p2p test with all existing Broadcom
chips(4324,4345xx,43452x,4350xx,4355xx,4357xx), that should sync with each other and
exchange, multicast, unicast, voice, vedio, BE traffic simultaneously.
- Timesync - WiFi stack support for accurate synchronization of time between system components
(e.g. host & FW), as well as accurate time-stamping of packet ingress and egress.
- DFS Proxy master- It is becoming more and more common for enterprises to heavily rely on DFS
channels. Firmware is required to handle the case when an AWDL peerA is connected to a DFS
Infra and is actively having a data session with another AWDL peerB which is not connected to
any Infra. AWDL peerA needs to notify peerB of any DFS activity reported by the Infra, in order
to vacate the channel as per the FCC requirements. This will enhance AirPlay reliability and
performance.
- NAN (Neighbour Awareness Networking) is a Wi-Fi specification to provide a low-power
mechanism that is run in devices in background to make the devices neighbour
aware. NAN enables mobile devices to efficiently discover devices and services in their
proximity. The purpose of NAN is only to discover device and its services, then, it is handed over
to post NAN discovery (Nan1.0) and connection to establish the actual service data channel
(Nan2.0)
Responsibilities:
- Involved in developing testplans, validating FW’s with new features such as AWDL RVR,
Multiclient IOT, Timesync, DFS proxy master and NAN.
- Automated the test suites using the available sat and tcl framework.
- Reported Firmware issues related to the above features and verified the fixes.
Education Profile:
- Bachelor of Technology (Electronics & Communication Engineering) from Aditya college of
Engineering – Madanapalle with 76%
- Intermediate Education (Maths, Physics & Chemistry) from Vikas Jr. College with 93%
- Secondary School Certificate from Gnanodaya School - Madanapalle with 83%
Strengths:
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Working under pressure
- Self-learner and adaptive to new technologies in short time.
