Maharishi Regional Cultural Celebration-2017
Hyderabad Region

Ji and the able guidance and patronage of
Hon’able Chairman MVM Schools Group
Brahmachari Girish Ji, Maharishi Regional
Cultural Celebration of Hyderabad Region was
held on 27thand 28th July 2017 at Maharishi
Centre for Excellence, Bengaluru. In this
celebration about 270 students and 40 Teachers
from 10 MVM Schools of southern Region
have participated. Dr. Prakash Chandra Joshi
Executive Director, MVM Schools Group was the chief guest.
On 27th July, the Celebration was inaugurated at 10:00 am with lighting the lamp &
traditional Guru Parampara Poojan which was performed by TM teachers and the chief guest.
The venue Principal Shri Manoj Kumar Tiwari welcomed all the participants and guests. Shri
Prakash Chandra Joshi Executive Director congratulated all the participants for participating
in MRCC. He advised participants to put their best effort to gain position. Everyone should
recognize his/her potential and try their best to achieve the goal in life. He also praised the role
of MVM schools in the nation building.
Celebration started with inaugural dance by students of MCE, Bengaluru. After this the
competitive events of the celebration were commenced as per the schedule.

round Quiz was conducted by Mr.
Wasim Akram. It is to be highlighted
that students from different MVM
schools showed high standard of
performance.
The closing ceremony of MRCC started by 12:30 PM on 28th July. Certificates to the first
& second position holders were distributed by Shri Prakash Chandra Joshi Executive Director,
Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, Principal Hyderabad Smt. Vasanthi Parashuraman and
Principal MVM Shornur Smt. Vanaja Mohandas. Programme ended with vote of thanks by venue
Principal Shri Manoj Kumar Tiwari. The two days Maharishi Regional Cultural Celebration
ended successfully. Every one enjoyed two days and all were filled with joy & happiness in the
land of Bengaluru.

Maharishi Regional Cultural Celebration-2017
Allahabad Region
With the divine blessing of Shri Guru Dev & His Holiness Maharishi Ji and the able guidance and
patronage of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon’ble Chairman MVM Schools Group, Maharishi Regional
Culture Celebration Allahabad Region on 11th
and 12thAugust 2017 was held with full zeal and
enthusiasm at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Sultanpur. In this Celebration about 450 students (boys and
girls) and 45 teachers from 13 schools of Allahabad region participated.
First day celebration started on 11th August
2017 at 09:30 am, with traditional Shri Guru
Parampara Pujan and Lighting of Lamp by
Shri C. D. Sharma Ji (Director Education) as
a national representative and Shri Harendra
Veer Singh, I.A.S. (District Magistrate-
Sultanpur), Shri Girish Kumar Singh, P.E.S.
(DIOS), venue Principal Shri P. K. Tripathi
and Shri Anand Choudhary Assistant Director
along with large number of teachers, staff
members parents and students.
On this occasion welcoming the dignitaries, guests and respected judges, venue Principal
Shri P. K. Tripathi congratulated all the participants and encouraged the students to put up their best
performance.
National representative Shri C. D. Sharma Ji narrated the significance of Maharishi
Regional Cultural Celebration and its influence in student’s life. He focused on the importance of
these occasions, as they give the students golden opportunities to show their talents. He advised
participants to put their best effort to gain their position. Everyone should recognize their potential
and try their best to achieve the goal in life.
The competitions held in 2 days
were- Group Patriotic Song, Group Dance,
Vocal Classical and Semi Classical, Vocal
and instrumental Music, Orchestra, on the
Spot Painting, G. K. Quiz Science and Maths
exhibitions, Debates in English, Hindi and
Sanskrit, Chanting of Bhagwat Geeta Shlok
and Chanting Ram Charit Manas, Yogic
Flying, Yog andAstang Yog, Maths & Science
exhibition. Performances of participants were
very unique and remarkable. The judges found it very difficult to decide the position.
In his address chief guest Shri H. V. Singh, District Magistrate said he never got opportunity
to attend any programme of MVM Group of Schools but to attend the programme in the centenary
year of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji is a matter of great pride for him. He appreciated the
function and congratulated the students and staffs for their sincere efforts. All the parents enjoyed
the celebration on both days and praised high standard of cultural events.

at Maharishi Vidya Mandir,

Bhojipura Bareilly was chief guest. Smt. Reeta Pandey, National coordinator, M.C.B.E. and Dr.
Shyam Bihari Singh, M.L.A Faridpur were guests of honour. 352 students from 13 Maharishi
Vidya Mandir Schools participated enthusiastically.
The programme was inaugurated by Shri Bhauran Lal Mourya and Smt. Reeta Pandey by
lightning the holy lamp and performing Shri Guru Parampara Poojan in the presence of Shri R. L.
Singh Principal MVM Bareilly. Smt. Reeta Pandey in her welcome speech narrated the significance
of celebration and its influence in student’s life. Shri R. L. Singh Principal congratulated all the
participants for participating in MRCC and narrated multidimensional activities of Maharishi
Shiksha Sansthan. He also praised the role of Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools in the nation
building.
After Shri Guru Parampara Poojan and welcome of guests, classical/semi classical,
instrumental (wind, percussion, string), orchestra, group song, vocal singing, Math’s & Science
exhibitions for junior & senior groups and on the spot painting competitions were conducted with
full zeal and enthusiasm.
On 11th August 2017 the celebration started at 9:00 am with Shri Guru Parampara Poojan,
lightning of lamp, felicitation of dignitaries and respected judges. Smt. Reeta Pandey coordinator-
MCBE delivered a short welcome speech. Shri R. L. Singh advised the students that participation
is more important than winning of prizes. Afterwards the day long celebration consisted of various
events like English, Sanskrit,Hindi debate, all round quiz etc. were conducted.
Finally certificates to the 1st and 2nd position holders and overall best performance were
distributed by Dr. Shyam Bihari Singh Hon'ble M.L.A, Faridpur, Shri Yatin Bhatia General Secretary
and Shri Devendra Joshi BJP Mahanagar along with Smt. Reeta Pandey. The programme ended with
the vote of thanks by venue Principal Shri R. L. Singh. The two days Maharishi Regional Cultural
Celebration ended successfully adding a golden feather in the cap of MaharishiVidya Mandir, Bareilly.

Maharishi Regional Cultural
Celebration 2017 was
organized at M.V.M-I Raipur
from 9th to 11th August 2017.
With the blessing of His

Schools group the programme
was a grand success. The
programme provided a platform
to 400 students from 21 schools of Jabalpur Region including Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, and
Odisha to showcase their talents.
On 9th August the programme began with Guru Pujan in presence of Shri V. R. Khare,
Director, Communication and Public Relations. The host Principal MVM-I Raipur Mrs. Vaishali
Seth welcomed all the escort teachers and requested them to participate with true sporting spirit for
the success of the programme in the 2nd half the student displayed their scientific & mathematical
skills in the maths and science exhibitions. The students debated on the topic GST–A step towards
corruption free India in English, Hindi and Sanskrit. They showed their creativity in on the spot
painting competition. The students displayed their knowledge in the field of History, MCBE &
current affairs. They also displayed their deep-rooted knowledge of India culture and religion
through recitation of Geeta Shloka and Ramcharitmanas, Yog and Astang Yog and Yogic Flying.
On 10th August the programme was held at the Pt. R. S. Auditorium. The Chief Guest of the
programme was Dr. S. K. Pandey, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukl University
Raipur, Shri Santosh Dhoke, Director, Swami VivekanandAirport Raipur and Commanding Officer
R. K. Verma, C.G. Battalion NCC and Shri V.R. Khare were the special guests on the occasion.
Scintillating Group Dance Performances (Senior & Junior Group) enthralled the audience in the
1st half of the programme whereas in the 2nd half the students showed their talents in musical
and melodious programmes in Group Song, Solo (Classical and Semi-Classical) and Instrumental
performances.
On 11th August, instrumental performance and orchestra were spell bound. The winners of
thecompetitionwereawardedcertificatesbyShriV.R.Khare.Hesaidthatthestudentsperformances
reiterated Maharishi Ji's thought that “Life is Bliss”. He also declared that winners of Maharishi
Regional Cultural Celebration will participate in Maharishi National Cultural Celebration to held
from 26th to 28th October 2017 at Bhopal. The Principal Mrs. Vaishali Seth thanked everyone
for making the event successful. The programme concluded by enthusiastic singing of National
Anthem.

participated in the event.
Smt. Shakuntala Rajliwala, Mayor Hisar was the chief guest, Shri C. D. Sharma, Director

The day started with the auspicious Guru Pujan & Ganesh Vandana. Shri Kuldeep Panchal
Principal, MVM, Hissar thanked everyone from the depth of his heart for their participation.
He welcomed all the guests, parents, escort teachers and students. In the Inaugural speech, Smt.
Shakuntala Rajliwala praised the efforts made by Maharishi Ji’s Organization in imparting value

Schools Group, the Maharishi
Regional Cultural Celebration of
Guwahati region was organized on
8th & 9th August 2017. Around 535
students from all the MVMs of Assam
participated in the celebration. Cultural
activities are organized to bring out the
hidden talents of the students and also to develop team spirit. It offers the students an opportunity
of growing their skills and show their non-academic capacity as well.
On 8th August the programme started with traditional Guru Parampara Pujan by TM teachers
in presence of the chief guest Gp. Capt. M. J. Bagchi (Retd.), Addl. Director (Pers. &Admn.),
the guest of honor Shri T. P. Bhattacharjee, Regional Director and all the Principals of Assam
Region. This was followed by lighting of lamp.
Mrs. Bandana Neog, venue Principal, welcomed the guests, judges, teachers and all participants.
She conveyed special thanks to Gp. Capt. M. J. Bagchi (Retd.), Addl. Director (Pers. &Admn.)
and Mr. T. P. Bhattacharjee, Regional Director, Assam Region. They were felicitated with a
Phulam Gamusa as token of regards. All the principals of MVM Schools of Guwahati Region
along with the judges of various programmes were felicitated with a Phulam Gamusa.
Shri M. J. Bagchi (Retd.) Gp. Capt. advised all the students to do hard work and give their best.
He told the students to enjoy their performances whole heartedly and wished everyone a grand
success. Shri T. P. Bhattacharjee, Regional Director, MVM Schools Group Guwahati Region
emphasized on the importance of co–curricular activities and advised the students to be a good
human being first with sound moral character. He said that as students are the future assets of the
nation, they need to be disciplined, honest, tolerant and hard working. He also said that imparting
education is a gift to the society.
The competitions started with the Gita Sloka chanting which was followed by junior and senior
science exhibitions, junior and senior mathematics model making competition, spot paining, solo
singing classical junior and senior, solo singing semi classical junior and senior, solo, group song
junior and senior and quiz competition.
The competitions on 2nd day started with traditional Guru Parampara Pujan followed by the
felicitation of the respected judges. The competitions were group dance junior and senior, debate
in English, Hindi and Sanskrit, wind & percussion junior & senior, Yogic Flying, Ashtang Yog
and orchestra. Participants from all the MVM schools of Guwahati region gave their best and
made the day an eventful one.
In the valedictory session, Shri M. J. Bagchi, congratulated the students for their excellent

performances and wished every one grand success. He specially mentioned that Guwahati
Region is always appreciated for its fabulousness academic as well as cultural excellence. He
declared that winners will be participating in Maharishi National Cultural Celebration to be held
at Bhopal from 26th to 28th October 2017.
Next followed the announcement of results by the Principal of MVM-III, Guwahati and
distribution of certificates. She appreciated all the students and thanked the teachers for their
dedicated service. The programme ended with a vote of thanks followed by enthusiastic singing
of national anthem.

Bhopal Region
With the blessings of Shri Gurudev and His Holiness Maharishi MaheshYogi Ji and kind guidance of
Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon'ble Chairman, MVM Schools Group, the Maharishi Regional Cultural
Celebration of Bhopal region was organized on 12th
& 13th
August 2017 at MVM Wardha.
The chief guest of the MRCC was Shri D. Bediya, retired SP. Shri M.S. Solanki Director
Academic and Tanning MVM Schools Group was the guest of honour. After welcome of the
guests and lighting of the lamp, Shri Guru Parampara Poojan was performed. It was followed
by welcome speech by the Shri Vijay Kumar Naidu, Principal of MVM Wardha. Then the
competitions started in various events like group dance, group song, classical & semi classical
songs, Geeta, Ramcharitmanas recitation, playing of instruments like wind, percussion, string,
debates in Hindi, Sanskrit and English, science and mathematics exhibition, classical orchestra
and others. It was a truly mesmerizing show of talents by students of various Maharishi Vidya
Mandir Schools. Everyone sat glued to the show.
The chief guest praised profusely the entire event. He guided all the students with his
inspirational words and motivated them to do better in every sphere of life. This was followed by
the announcement of results. Shri M. S. Solanki announced that the winning teams in each event
will participate in MNCC to be held at Bhopal from 26th
to 28th
October 2017. It was followed by
a formal vote of thanks and enthusiastic singing of National Anthem.
Everyone enjoyed a lot and dispersed thanking the MVM Schools Group for organising
such cultural events which gives the students a chance to display their talents.

Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group is arranging in-house Teachers Training Courses
from 2007 for the TGTs and from 2009 for PRTs.
The aim of these training courses are –
1. To give knowledge about latest curriculum/syllabus.
2. To give knowledge about modern teaching, trends, technique and technology regarding the
specific subjects.
3. To identify the set of good teachers to develop best textbooks, course materials and question
papers for Maharishi Olympiad and other purposes.
4. To fulfill the requirement given in CBSE guidelines that every teacher has to undergo one week
"In-service Teachers Training."
5. To give platform to the teachers to share their experiences and innovations in their subject/class
room management.
6. To develop a sense of global brotherhood in Maharishi world family.
Training courses in 2017
MVM Schools Group has arranged eight training courses for the TGT at national level in
the main academic subjects namely – English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science and Social
Science at National Office,Bhopal. Senior Principals/PGTs were deputed as course directors for
above subjects. Hon’ble Brahmachari Girish Ji blessed the participants and organisers for their best
efforts.
TGTs training programmes were held at MCE, Bengaluru and MVM Guwahati separately.
Each programme was of 8 days duration. The period of eight days was divided in three parts –
four days for academic training, two days for classroom management training and two days for
introduction of Maharishi Organisation and Maharishi Vedic Science.
Primary Teacher's Training Programmes at regional levels for all the seven regions were
also organised.
Up till now 109 teachers training courses have been organised since 2007. In 2017 only
we have trained nearly 721 teachers in 16 training courses. As per feedback received from the
participants, it is revealed that knowledge imparted by the resource persons and guest lecturers was
excellent.
For these courses eminent educationists were invited for the TGTs training courses at
MCEE Bhopal, They are Dr. Bhagirath Prasad Kumravat, Vice Chairman, Madhya Pradesh Board
of Secondary Education, Shri Jay Narayan Chouksey, Chairman LNCT Group of Colleges and
Chancellor LNCT, University.
