Maharishi’s Science of Creative Intelligence, a stable foundation for the eternal wisdom of
life to be enjoyed generation after generation.
The knowledge of intelligence has its roots in the eternity of knowledge. Knowledge is eternal
because life is eternal.
This eternal value of life–the unbounded, unmanifest field of Creative
Intelligence is experienced through the practice of Maharishi’s
Transcendental Meditation Technique.
Generation after generation, the same unbounded, eternal value
of knowledge has been passed on from teacher to student. The
knowledge of Maharishi’s Science of Creative Intelligence is
embedded in a long tradition of teachers.
To establish a stable foundation for this knowledge, the intelligentsia
of every generation should be the custodians of this eternal wisdom.
This was the inspiration to establish Maharishi Universities.
The name ‘Maharishi’ means ‘great Seer’- one who not only sees
reality and lives it in fulfilment, but who is also able to impart the
value of being a Seer to everyone on earth. The goal of Maharishi
Universities is to create great Seers in all parts of the world in every generation.
The goal and aspiration of Maharishi Universities is to maintain the knowledge of the complete
value of life in its purity, so that in every generation both teacher and student grow in knowledge,
vitality, and fulfilment together.
As long as the purity of knowledge is maintained, the effectiveness of the Science of Creative
Intelligence will be maintained and its benefits secured for all generations to come.
The knowledge of intelligence honours all systems of gaining knowledge. The Science of
Creative Intelligence brings fulfilment to the aspirations of all educational systems, all governments,
and all organizations to develop the full value of life in the individual and in society.
The Science of Creative Intelligence provides the knowledge of all the Laws of Nature,
whereby man does not make mistakes and his life is always spontaneously progressive and fulfilling,
in accordance with Natural Law.
The ability to bring fulfilment to the life of every individual and society gave rise to the
World Plan, whose aim is to bring this supreme knowledge to every man everywhere. Maharishi
Universities are the organizations through which the World Plan is being implemented in all parts of
the world.
The goal of the World Plan is to ensure that in this scientific age no man continues to suffer
and that every man blossoms in the full value of life, radiates the full value of life, and lives life in
fulfilment.
Ideal education through Maharishi’s Science of Creative Intelligence: Offering an ideal

system of education for the individual to rise to enlightenment and nations to rise to invincibility.
The ground for success of all activity in society is coherence in collective consciousness. This
is brought about by increasing the level of coherence in the consciousness of the individual through
Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation Technique.
Higher consciousness should be the goal of higher education, and success in every undertaking
should be the achievement of every educated man. Maharishi Universities are creating enlightened
individuals whose thought and action are from the level of Transcendental Consciousness, the field
of all possibilities. Action from this level is evolutionary, fulfilling, and successful.
Suffering has been a part of life because consciousness was not a field of study in education:
the knower was not realized and therefore knowledge remained baseless and unfulfilling.
By providing knowledge of the knower, Maharishi Universities expand the student’s learning
ability. When the student’s mental potential is fully unfolded, his thoughts will be most powerful
and will be in accordance with Natural Law. All his thought and action will automatically produce a
positive influence in the environment.
Maharishi Universities's gift to the world is a more coherent level of world consciousness
today. Any country that will imbibe the spirit of Maharishi Universities's programme of education
into its educational system will enjoy an ideal society free from problems and invincibility for the
nation.
Maharishi European Research University (MERU) in Switzerland is solely devoted to
research into consciousness as a field of all possibilities. At MERU, research in consciousness is
probing deep into the unmanifest field of Creative Intelligence in order to unfold the full potential of
all possibilities in human awareness.
Generations of educators have been longing for a perfect system of education, through which
every educated individual would be intelligent, successful, and a glory to his environment. It needed
a scientific age to provide a systematic procedure to accomplish this highest ideal of educators.
Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation and TM-Siddhi Programme is this systematic
procedure to create an ideal man. This programme is based on the nature of life itself, which is
growth and evolution motivated by Natural Law.
Educators everywhere have always been progressive and eager to adopt anything that will
enrich education. The establishment of Maharishi International University in all parts of the world
will create an invincible family of nations.
Jai Guru Dev, Jai Maharishi

‘Shri Guru Dev was out of sight of man but was well marked in the eyes of the destiny
of the country. For more than 165years, the principal seat of Shankaracharya of Jyotir-Math in
Badrikashram, Himalaya was vacant, and North India had no Shankaracharya to guide the spiritual
destiny of the people.
‘It took a long time, twenty years, to persuade Shri Guru Dev to come out of his solitude
and accept the holy throne of Shankaracharya of Jyotir-Math in Badrikashram, Himalayas. At the
age of 71, in the year 1941, a well-marked time in the political and religious history of India, he
was installed as Shankaracharya of Jyotir-math, and that was the sturning point in the destiny of the
nation. The political freedom of the country dawned under his divine grace, and he was revered by
Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India.
At the conference of the eminent philosophers of the world during the Silver Jubilee
Celebrations of the Institute of Indian Philosophers, held at Calcutta in December 1950. Dr. S.
Radhakrishnan, the famous philosopher and the successor of Dr. Rajendra Prasad as President of
India, addressed Shri Guru Dev as “Vedanta Incarnate” (Truth Embodiment).’

of the knowledge of Shri Guru Dev and his most dedicated disciple His Holiness Maharishi Ji.

Global Tiger Day
The world is observing Global Tiger Day! Established
in 2010 at Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit, July 29th
is dedicated to worldwide awareness and support for
tiger conservation. Less than a century ago, 100,000
tigers roamed the forests of Asia, but today’s reality
is that there are only 4000 tigers are surviving in their
natural environment. India is currently home to nearly
3000 tigers marking a 33% jump in their number from
the last census four years ago.
According to the fourth round of tiger census, there are
currently 2967 tigers in India in 2018 as against 2226 in 2014. This means an increase of 741 tigers in the
last four years because of the conservation initiatives taken by the Centre and state governments. Compared
to 2006 when the scientific method of tiger counting began, the numbers doubled – from 1411 in 2006.
Since 2006, India has been conducting the all India tiger estimation once every four years. Three cycles
of the estimation have already been completed in 2006, 2010 and 2014. In the previous census, Karnataka
(406) housed the maximum number of big cats followed by Uttarakhand (340) and Madhya Pradesh (308).
Though India launched Project Tiger in 1973, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) was
set up only in 2006. It came as a response to the drastic fall in tiger numbers as highlighted by the local
extinction of tigers in Sariska and Panna Tiger reserves. With the primary issues of poaching, habitat
destruction and man-animal conflict, the future of India’s iconic Big Cat remains a matter of great concern.
Apart from tackling the serious issue of poaching and trade in tiger parts, one of the main issue that require
immediate attention in regard to tiger conservation is the fragmentation, degradation and shrinking of
habitat. A rise in the encroachments into protected areas, deforestation and conversion of buffer zones into
farmland are dangerous for tiger’s life. It resulted in shrinking of sizes of tiger reserves.
Despite Maharashtra not having the highest tiger population in the country, the state has recorded the
maximum tiger deaths plus body parts seizures this year so far. Today India has almost twice the number
of tigers than it did a decade ago; however, the threats to India’s big cats remain as potent as ever. India’s
reported tiger deaths related to poaching peaked in 2016, according to World Wildlife Fund-India. There
were 50 poaching-related deaths in 2016, according to the Wildlife Protection Society of India, the highest
in 15 years.
Those who study English literature must be knowing British poet William Blake’s famous poem on tiger
----
Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the Forests of the Night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
Poet, painter and visionary William Blake worked to bring about a change both in the social order and in the
minds of men. Blake wrote this poem in 1774, there were around 100 thousand tigers roaming this planet
in the Nature. In the second line, the poet writes about, ‘Forest of the Night’ which is the home of the tiger.
There were hardly one billion people on the planet and there was no Global Tiger Day celebration then.
Madhya Pradesh was declared to be number one state having number of tigers leaving behind Karnataka.
Congratulations to Forest and Wildlife department of Madhya Pradesh and also to the PCCF (wildlife) Dr.
U Prakasham and his team.

Engineering dropout to organic farmer growing 300 [plus] native veggies: TN
man's inspiring story!
The Better India reported: In the village of
Kuttiyagoundanpudur, close to the arid region of
Oddanchatram in Tamil Nadu's Dindigul district, lies
Aadhiyagai Parameswaran's six-acre farm. The area
lacks a perennial source of water to keep crops well-fed,
but 29-year-old aeronautical engineer-turned-farmer,
Parameswaran is confident his farm will thrive. His
crops can withstand severe drought conditions because
they are native to this arid region. We view this news as a
sign of rising positivity in the fields of environment and
business, documenting the growth of life-supporting,
evolutionary trends.
Apart from growing chemical-free food, he also created
a seed bank named Aadhiyagai (which means first blooming in Tamil), with more than 300 native
vegetable and fruit seeds. Collected and documented over the past five years, he now distributes
them to farmers in the neighbourhood and youngsters in cities and towns.
India to add 5,000 [plus] electric buses in 65 cities in ongoing massive EV push
An Indian government committee has sanctioned 5,645 electric buses for 65 cities in one of the
largest electric bus initiatives the world has seen outside of China.
The announcement came on Twitter from Amitabh Kant, the CEO of the government’s Niti Aayog
commission. Kant tweeted about approval for the buses, which will be made in India by eight State
Transport Undertakings: This was Kant’s only tweet thus far on the subject, but the Niti Aayog
CEO recently gave an interview to the Economic Times about the country’s EV plan. India looks
to push the manufacturing of electric car batteries domestically, and there are still plans for major
electrification of the country’s two- and three-wheelers.
The country is also particularly focused on using clean energy to charge its expected boom in electric
vehicles. Kant said,“Our objective is to clean up cities, reduce imports, and utilize the sun and its
energy for driving electric vehicles.”
The announcement about electric buses follows another announcement this weekend that India will
be cutting taxes on electric vehicles — it’s reducing the electric car tax from 12% to 5%, and cutting
taxes on EV chargers from 18% to 5%.
While no time frame has been given yet for when India seeks to have these thousands of electric
buses in place, the initiative stands out, both for its number of cities and its sheer size.

  • 2. bZ&Kku ekfld lwpuk i=k eaxyokj] 30 tqykbZ 2019 E-Gyan Digital Newsletter MVM Schools Group 2 Maharishi’s Science of Creative Intelligence, a stable foundation for the eternal wisdom of life to be enjoyed generation after generation. The knowledge of intelligence has its roots in the eternity of knowledge. Knowledge is eternal because life is eternal. This eternal value of life–the unbounded, unmanifest field of Creative Intelligence is experienced through the practice of Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation Technique. Generation after generation, the same unbounded, eternal value of knowledge has been passed on from teacher to student. The knowledge of Maharishi’s Science of Creative Intelligence is embedded in a long tradition of teachers. To establish a stable foundation for this knowledge, the intelligentsia of every generation should be the custodians of this eternal wisdom. This was the inspiration to establish Maharishi Universities. The name ‘Maharishi’ means ‘great Seer’- one who not only sees reality and lives it in fulfilment, but who is also able to impart the value of being a Seer to everyone on earth. The goal of Maharishi Universities is to create great Seers in all parts of the world in every generation. The goal and aspiration of Maharishi Universities is to maintain the knowledge of the complete value of life in its purity, so that in every generation both teacher and student grow in knowledge, vitality, and fulfilment together. As long as the purity of knowledge is maintained, the effectiveness of the Science of Creative Intelligence will be maintained and its benefits secured for all generations to come. The knowledge of intelligence honours all systems of gaining knowledge. The Science of Creative Intelligence brings fulfilment to the aspirations of all educational systems, all governments, and all organizations to develop the full value of life in the individual and in society. The Science of Creative Intelligence provides the knowledge of all the Laws of Nature, whereby man does not make mistakes and his life is always spontaneously progressive and fulfilling, in accordance with Natural Law. The ability to bring fulfilment to the life of every individual and society gave rise to the World Plan, whose aim is to bring this supreme knowledge to every man everywhere. Maharishi Universities are the organizations through which the World Plan is being implemented in all parts of the world. The goal of the World Plan is to ensure that in this scientific age no man continues to suffer and that every man blossoms in the full value of life, radiates the full value of life, and lives life in fulfilment. Ideal education through Maharishi’s Science of Creative Intelligence: Offering an ideal Maharishi Speaks
  • 3. bZ&Kku ekfld lwpuk i=k eaxyokj] 30 tqykbZ 2019 E-Gyan Digital Newsletter MVM Schools Group 3 system of education for the individual to rise to enlightenment and nations to rise to invincibility. The ground for success of all activity in society is coherence in collective consciousness. This is brought about by increasing the level of coherence in the consciousness of the individual through Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation Technique. Higher consciousness should be the goal of higher education, and success in every undertaking should be the achievement of every educated man. Maharishi Universities are creating enlightened individuals whose thought and action are from the level of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of all possibilities. Action from this level is evolutionary, fulfilling, and successful. Suffering has been a part of life because consciousness was not a field of study in education: the knower was not realized and therefore knowledge remained baseless and unfulfilling. By providing knowledge of the knower, Maharishi Universities expand the student’s learning ability. When the student’s mental potential is fully unfolded, his thoughts will be most powerful and will be in accordance with Natural Law. All his thought and action will automatically produce a positive influence in the environment. Maharishi Universities's gift to the world is a more coherent level of world consciousness today. Any country that will imbibe the spirit of Maharishi Universities's programme of education into its educational system will enjoy an ideal society free from problems and invincibility for the nation. Maharishi European Research University (MERU) in Switzerland is solely devoted to research into consciousness as a field of all possibilities. At MERU, research in consciousness is probing deep into the unmanifest field of Creative Intelligence in order to unfold the full potential of all possibilities in human awareness. Generations of educators have been longing for a perfect system of education, through which every educated individual would be intelligent, successful, and a glory to his environment. It needed a scientific age to provide a systematic procedure to accomplish this highest ideal of educators. Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation and TM-Siddhi Programme is this systematic procedure to create an ideal man. This programme is based on the nature of life itself, which is growth and evolution motivated by Natural Law. Educators everywhere have always been progressive and eager to adopt anything that will enrich education. For more than 165years, the principal seat of Shankaracharya of Jyotir-Math in Badrikashram, Himalaya was vacant, and North India had no Shankaracharya to guide the spiritual destiny of the people. ‘It took a long time, twenty years, to persuade Shri Guru Dev to come out of his solitude and accept the holy throne of Shankaracharya of Jyotir-Math in Badrikashram, Himalayas. At the age of 71, in the year 1941, a well-marked time in the political and religious history of India, he was installed as Shankaracharya of Jyotir-math, and that was the sturning point in the destiny of the nation. The political freedom of the country dawned under his divine grace, and he was revered by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Established in 2010 at Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit, July 29th is dedicated to worldwide awareness and support for tiger conservation. Less than a century ago, 100,000 tigers roamed the forests of Asia, but today’s reality is that there are only 4000 tigers are surviving in their natural environment. India is currently home to nearly 3000 tigers marking a 33% jump in their number from the last census four years ago. According to the fourth round of tiger census, there are currently 2967 tigers in India in 2018 as against 2226 in 2014. This means an increase of 741 tigers in the last four years because of the conservation initiatives taken by the Centre and state governments. Compared to 2006 when the scientific method of tiger counting began, the numbers doubled – from 1411 in 2006. Since 2006, India has been conducting the all India tiger estimation once every four years. Three cycles of the estimation have already been completed in 2006, 2010 and 2014. In the previous census, Karnataka (406) housed the maximum number of big cats followed by Uttarakhand (340) and Madhya Pradesh (308). Though India launched Project Tiger in 1973, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) was set up only in 2006. It came as a response to the drastic fall in tiger numbers as highlighted by the local extinction of tigers in Sariska and Panna Tiger reserves. With the primary issues of poaching, habitat destruction and man-animal conflict, the future of India’s iconic Big Cat remains a matter of great concern. Apart from tackling the serious issue of poaching and trade in tiger parts, one of the main issue that require immediate attention in regard to tiger conservation is the fragmentation, degradation and shrinking of habitat. A rise in the encroachments into protected areas, deforestation and conversion of buffer zones into farmland are dangerous for tiger’s life. It resulted in shrinking of sizes of tiger reserves. Despite Maharashtra not having the highest tiger population in the country, the state has recorded the maximum tiger deaths plus body parts seizures this year so far. Today India has almost twice the number of tigers than it did a decade ago; however, the threats to India’s big cats remain as potent as ever. India’s reported tiger deaths related to poaching peaked in 2016, according to World Wildlife Fund-India. There were 50 poaching-related deaths in 2016, according to the Wildlife Protection Society of India, the highest in 15 years. Those who study English literature must be knowing British poet William Blake’s famous poem on tiger ---- Tyger Tyger, burning bright, In the Forests of the Night; What immortal hand or eye, Could frame thy fearful symmetry? Poet, painter and visionary William Blake worked to bring about a change both in the social order and in the minds of men. Blake wrote this poem in 1774, there were around 100 thousand tigers roaming this planet in the Nature. Article Published in Mahamedia News Service

The Better India reported: In the village of Kuttiyagoundanpudur, close to the arid region of Oddanchatram in Tamil Nadu's Dindigul district, lies Aadhiyagai Parameswaran's six-acre farm. The area lacks a perennial source of water to keep crops well-fed, but 29-year-old aeronautical engineer-turned-farmer, Parameswaran is confident his farm will thrive. His crops can withstand severe drought conditions because they are native to this arid region. We view this news as a sign of rising positivity in the fields of environment and business, documenting the growth of life-supporting, evolutionary trends. Apart from growing chemical-free food, he also created a seed bank named Aadhiyagai (which means first blooming in Tamil), with more than 300 native vegetable and fruit seeds. Collected and documented over the past five years, he now distributes them to farmers in the neighbourhood and youngsters in cities and towns. India to add 5,000 [plus] electric buses in 65 cities in ongoing massive EV push An Indian government committee has sanctioned 5,645 electric buses for 65 cities in one of the largest electric bus initiatives the world has seen outside of China. The announcement came on Twitter from Amitabh Kant, the CEO of the government’s Niti Aayog commission. Kant tweeted about approval for the buses, which will be made in India by eight State Transport Undertakings: This was Kant’s only tweet thus far on the subject, but the Niti Aayog CEO recently gave an interview to the Economic Times about the country’s EV plan. India looks to push the manufacturing of electric car batteries domestically, and there are still plans for major electrification of the country’s two- and three-wheelers. The country is also particularly focused on using clean energy to charge its expected boom in electric vehicles. Kant said,“Our objective is to clean up cities, reduce imports, and utilize the sun and its energy for driving electric vehicles.” The announcement about electric buses follows another announcement this weekend that India will be cutting taxes on electric vehicles — it’s reducing the electric car tax from 12% to 5%, and cutting taxes on EV chargers from 18% to 5%. While no time frame has been given yet for when India seeks to have these thousands of electric buses in place, the initiative stands out, both for its number of cities and its sheer size.
