2018
After graduating from SMK Negeri 1 Slawi majoring in
computer engineering and networking, I continued my
studies at BSI University majoring in Information Systems.
I am very interested about the world of information
technology. I was elected leader of the youth Red Cross,
from which I learned about responsibility, management,
planning and more.
I often do research to do college assignments, such as
analyzing systems in the KPU. I also did work practices at
PT Asuransi Jasindo Tegal (insurance company) as an
analyst claim and building a drug inventory system at
Suradadi Tegal Hospital.
I graduated from BSI university and I chose to focus on
design and technology. I think technology will be very
useful if planning and implementation go in the same
direction. because I believe technology will be accepted
by people if the design is easy to understand and easy to
use. I am learning online course UX research and
information architecture on Lynda to deepen my passion
and areas of interest. I believe that frustration and user
needs can be key to improving functionality and
facilitating users.

Need bloods in Indonesia are increasing every year. blood
needs and blood stocks are very dependent on donation. not
all blood can be immediately transfused. sometimes in some
cases, blood recipients need fresh blood.
but there is no application that can make it easier for people
to find voluntary donors, they have to search directly for
people who want to donate their blood. this is a problem that
we want to solve and it is our focus to make a simple
application to find donations easily.

USER INTERVIEW
doing interviews I get used to starting with
simple and natural conversations, as much as
possible I might not want to guess, so that I will
get a lot of deep information in holding
interviews

then, just relax in answering my questions. if in the interview
process
there is something you are confused about, something you like or
dislike, do not hesitate to tell me.

RESEARCH
USER SURVEY
I did a survey using Google Forms. Then I share
survey links to social media and instant
messages like Facebook, Whatsapp group, and
Line Messenger. from the survey I got various
answers from participants interested in blood
donation.

8. EMPHATY MAP
after collecting qualitative data and
information during interviews, I made
emphaty map consisting of 6 points :
Doing (what do user in daily life)
Seeing ( what kind of user environment)
Hearing (what affect user)
Thinking and feeling ( what the user thinks and feels)
Pains (obstacles or challenges face by users)
Gain (what the user wants to achieve)
I took 1 person named Hanif Misbah Huddin to be
created the personas

9. COMPETITOR
ANALYSIS
I started by looking for 3 competitors who
had services looking for and donating
blood. I made a list of their products and I
compared each other to get result which
is good and bad
The Competitors :
9
10. BRAINSTROMING
I tried to analyze user needs by looking at
the survey results. I tried to solve the
problem with the “how might we” method
1. Search donor
bloods in “click”
- Search donor bloods in
easy step
2. Post need bloods
in easy way
- the search will be
broad
- Many people will be
helped
4. News Feed
provide news feeds
about blood, stories
about blood needs, and
so on
5. Customer
support
- provide calls for users
make users understand
more about how to use
the application easily
3. Remainder
- when someone is
willing to help, the blood
seeker will immediately
get a notification
including info about
blood donors who are
willing to help

11. USER FLOWS
User Flow takes the starting point to the end for each picture
that will be developed. I try to think about how to run this
application and expand it into user flow diagram.
I use timblee to make user flow diagram
11
12. USER FLOWS
I tried to match the first assumptions listed when
developing this project with a user survey and
the results of qualitative data make it easier for
me to validate it.

13. WIREFRAME
I like wireframe using paper and pens.
sometimes I find new inspiration when making
wire frames with paper. even though I can’t draw
well, people can translate what I mean.
13
14. WIREFRAME
After I designed it with paper, I made a digital version using the sketch
application or Adobe XD. It is especially useful during a product’s early stages
as it conveys my design ideas.
