So how have we done so far …?
• We’ve worked with over 4000 SMEs since 2008
• We’ve helped SMEs win circa £200m of contracts
• The Fit for Legacy programme realised:
– 570 SMEs through a full 12-hour support programme
– 300 jobs safeguarded
– 133 jobs created
– £17m of contract wins (£15m in construction)
• The Ready to Supply the City programme realised:
– 150 SMES though a full 12-hour support programme

So how have we done so far …? • We’ve worked with over 4000 SMEs since 2008 • We’ve helped SMEs win circa £200m of contracts • The Fit for Legacy programme realised: – 570 SMEs through a full 12-hour support programme – 300 jobs safeguarded – 133 jobs created – £17m of contract wins (£15m in construction) • The Ready to Supply the City programme realised: – 150 SMES though a full 12-hour support programme – £1.5m of contract wins – Good links with corporate buyers and their supply-chains

Doing the right thing ….. • All our programmes predicated on quality, not quantity • Far more stringent validation of SMME capability and commitment (especially construction) • Only engaging with Buyers with realistic procurement opportunities • Only working with SMEs who ‘meet us halfway’ • Programme looking at less SMMEs, but with more time for tailored coaching & mentoring – 400 SMEs over 3 years • No room for ‘one-size-fits-all’ or ‘box-ticking’
