1. Expressing Preferences
 There are two alternatives for expressing preferences:
1. Would you rather drink juice or a fizzy drink?
I would rather drink juice.
I’d rather drink juice.
2. Would you preferto eat meat or a fruit?
I would prefer to eat a fruit.
I’d prefer to eat a fruit.
 Other variations in form:

Note: Ratherusually goes with “than”
Prefer+ Verb in the “ing” form.
