The followingactionsare from my sessions inmy small side business as a spiritualist.
Listening: I am devotedto myclientsthe entire time Iamwiththem. I immerse myself intothe
situation—feelingthe emotionsof the client. Once Iam one withthe client,Ican helpthemsee whatis
troublingthemanddeterminewaystomodifybehavior.
Compassion: I am deeplyconcernedaboutthe well-beingof myclient—wantingtomake sure her
concernsare gettingaddressed. Ihave helpedclientsdevelopcopingmechanismsthataddressthe
inherentfearanduncertainty the theyare currentlyenduring.
Tenacity: I am persistentthroughthe completion of anyprojectortopic. I provide explanationsand
actionsto take. My jobas a spiritualististomake sure myclientunderstandsthe reasonsforthe actions
I am taking,because if she doesnotunderstand,Icannothelpherprogress.
Caring: I want my clienttowantto come back and see me again. The wayI can insure thatshe will
returnis to have herknowthat I care abouther well-being. The relationshipwe are buildingisbased

the natural endingof the session. A clockdoesnot dictate tome whenthe sessionisover.
