Congratulations! Your application for the Griffith Business School’s Student Leadership
Program 2016 – 2017 has been successful. Your role as a Griffith Business School Student
Leader will be effective from 1st
January 2016.
I am certain that you will enjoy your new role and I look forward to meeting you in person
next year.
As part of the Griffith Business School’s Student Leadership Program there will be
compulsory components that you must complete over the next 2 years. In addition, there will
be a range of activities and training you can attend of your own choice.
One of the first requirements of all Griffith Business School’s Student Leaders (GBSSLs) is
to attend an induction day in preparation for Orientation 2016. On the induction day, I will
also run through your role and responsibility to the Griffith Business School more thoroughly.
Orientation for new students is a vital event in the Griffith Business School’s calendar and
we want to ensure we have our new Student Leaders ready and trained to welcome new
students.
Please note the following two dates into your diary. I will be back in touch (via your supplied
email) closer to the time to confirm your attendance and other updates regarding the
program.
GBS Student Leaders Compulsory Induction Day
When: Friday 19th
February 2016
Time: All Day training (approx. 9am – 3pm)
Where: Nathan Campus (Bus transfer from GC to NA will be provided)
Griffith Business School Orientation Day
When: Tuesday 23rd
February 2016
Time: All Day
Where: Gold Coast Campus
