Lisa Lahr was a Level 2 and Level 3 medical track instructor who inspired her students through confidence building exercises, daily drills, and group projects. She prepared students for higher level medical classes and informed them about medical specialties. Her classroom management style created a peaceful learning environment. Ms. Lahr first came under my supervision when she joined the medical track department as a
Level 2 instructor. She was able to inspire her students by a combination of confidince building
presentation exercises and daily drills. She also worked with her students to prepare them for
higher levels medical English classes. She kept them inlormed on the many diffirent medical
specialties that they might choose once they are accepted to medical school. Lisa introduced the
concept of the speaking topic. Students would be given a topic at the end of class and have to
give a speech for the following morning. These students adapted to this assignment by showing
a high level ofcreativity and enthusiasm.
In her Level 3 medical track classes, Lisa showed an ability to adapt lessons to students with
lower proficiency. She inspired them to leam through countletr grorp work projects as well as
stimulating intelpretations of the cumiculum. Under Lisa's guidance these siudents worked to
achieve the grade that showed their true potential. Her classroom management style kept the
most unruly students in line and provided a peaceful learning envirorlnent.
Lisa's completion of administrative tasks reflects her strong work ethic and keen sense ol
mission. She rarely misses a deadline. I can say with confidence that Lisa's skill, compassion and
creative teaching style will help her to shine in any position that you choose to olfer to her.
