EASIER TO ORGANISE
Knowing the required investment and the ROI of
each event is the 1st step of holding a sports
event.
Sports event can generate average ROI with
medium investment, therefore, can fit in a large
scale of organizations.
You can raise your funding by selling treats,
refreshments, goods at the events (hot dogs,
garlic fries, soda, etc.).
TIPS:
- Add on BBQ or a raffle at your events- BUT
remember to get insurance and license.

WHY SOME SPORT EVENTS RAISE MORE THAN THE OTHERS?
Small but straightforward things can raise your fund to 40% higher than average.
1. Keep the registration simple and easy to sign in
2. Set expectation: Only 50% of charities set fundraising target. Motivate your participants to
achieve realistic goals are more challenging and exciting!!
3. Make me feel important: A simple handwriting card in the fundraising pack at the beginning.
This can surprise your audience and make them feel you appreciation.
4. Show your understanding: Show you understand the challenges your participants will
encounter. Training advice are well received.
5. Make me feel part of something: It feels great to realize you're part of something more than just
individuals contribution. Providing Facebook groups to connect with other participants and offer
chances to meet up before the events are appreciated.
