Cement Australia Plasterers Grey Cement is
specifically used in making an internal base
coat render to cover standard clay brick
surfaces. Also used for ‘Cement Dado’ or
glass faced cement renders and internal or
external sand-finished work.
APPLICATIONS
Plasterers Grey Cement is used as a
cementitious binder in Render applications.
This product is specifically designed for
plasterers to meet Western Australian site
conditions, substrates, plastering sands and
plastering practices.
Where specific properties such as rapid
early strength gain are required a more
specialised type of cement should be
considered and it is advisable to seek
advice from Cement Australia.

Curing
A minimum curing period of three days is
recommended for all render applications.
Water sprays or moisture retaining
techniques such as covering with polythene
or damp hessian are recommended. Curing
should begin once the render application is
completed.
STORAGE, HANDLING & SAFETY
• The ‘shelf life’ of Plasterers Grey Cement is dependent on the storage
conditions. It is necessary for Plasterers Grey Cement to be stored in dry
conditions and protected from rain, dew and any other moisture source.
Bagged cement that has hardened or is lumpy as a result of exposure to
moisture should not be used.
