The author conducted a quantitative survey about the video game GTA 5 by sharing it on Facebook but did not receive many responses. They acknowledge that distributing surveys on Facebook does not guarantee responses. In the future, the author would prefer to use a qualitative survey approach to obtain more detailed feedback from fewer people, such as by distributing the survey via email where response rates may be higher.
2. QUANTITATIVE SURVEY
In this survey we collected
quantitative information on the
game GTA 5 as I sent many
copies over through Facebook on
two accounts and my web
address but unfortunately did not
receive so many results as there
is no guarantee that anyone
would take my survey.
But however this survey quick to
send out for people to give me
feedback about so if I were to
wait for another few weeks or so I
would most certainly get a larger
amount of results.
3. In this situation I think that if I
were to get more detailed
answers I would most likely look
at a using a qualitative survey as
I would of preferred that I got lot
of feedback from fewer people
as I have previously got form this
survey.
But if I were too re-evaluate this
survey I would most probably go
for the route of sending my
survey specifically to peopleโs
email accounts so I am more
than likely going to get feedback
from someone rather than
posting it on Facebook which it is
less likely to looked at their.
5. QUALITATIVE SURVEY
On this type of survey i t
shows questions that need
to be answered in a fair
amount of detail which can
good when col lecting
sma ller amo u nt o f p e o pleโ s
feedback.
In our group we produced a
qualitative survey which
questioned cer tain areas of
the game as i t covered the
backstory, the characters
themselves and how
multiplayer wi l l be
managed in the future.
6. I bel ieve that if my survey
was given more t ime to be
looked at I think that I
would get a lot of feedback
Which would then help me
make a more of an overall
evaluation, to see what
improvements people think
should be made to GTA V.
But however I think that I
prefer to use this type of
survey as i t gives me
detailed answers to work
wi th instead of using a
quantitative survey.
