1. Publishing and Presenting for Health Care
Level 7 (Masters), 30 credits, part-time, February intake
Whether you want to brush up your skills in presenting or improve your
academic writing, this single module will help you to disseminate your
findings professionally into the public arena.

 Delivered by an experienced team of journal editors, reviewers and
internationally recognised speakers
 You will receive one to one support from a dedicated supervisor
 Undertake in-depth analysis of a contemporary issue or write up your
own research findings within your chosen area of health care
 Suitable for all health care professionals
Course summary
 Dissemination of findings including oral and poster presentations,
writing for publication and Personal Development Planning
 Optimising literature search strategy when using databases and search
engines, using MeSH headings
 Academic study skills including essay writing and referencing where
appropriate
