OTN switches intend to provide a cost-effective, scalable, next gen
fast data forwarding solution for customers. The Hardware includes
one Control Plane and one Data Plane with unnumbered 15x 10GB
ports. Main protocol processing for Tunneling, label switching, Traffic
engineering and routing happens at control plane only and Data
plane is only for Data forwarding.
Some of these enhancements include providing TE-Link Manager
module, integration and customization of OSPF-TE, CSPF, RSVP-TE

• LGP is a Control Protocol between ALG-Agent and ALG-
Manager and Responsible for Time Synchronization of
Manager and Agent, Configuration of Session profiles for
agents, Health Monitoring of agents and statistics collection.
• ALG-Agent is responsible for scheduling the application
sessions (TCP, UDP etc.) based on configuration received
