Production diary summer

2. So over the summer I have completed a section of work being an essay
which furthers my understanding of the ways film openings draw in
their audiences through uses of theory's and enigma. I have also
created my own film opening idea which could be used for inspiration in
our final film opening.
The essay I completed was based on how different film openings draw in
their audiences – this could be due to a wide range of theory’s such as
male gaze or Reception Theory – I did research to find out a wide range
of theory’s and how they all worked, this enhanced my knowledge
widely and I now have new ideas for my final film opening and how to
attract and engage my audience.
