The Alterated collection explores how psychological trauma and addiction can affect the body in modern times. It focuses on body deformation through garments made of thick, moldable fabrics like felt, neoprene, and cashmere. The garments are meant to enhance and mutate body shapes in contrasting yet balanced ways, acting as a replacement for plastic surgery. The goal is to show beauty in imperfection and fragility for a woman who is not afraid to show her dark side or vulnerability.

8. The name Altered comes from the idea of modi-
fication, the alteration of the volumes and of the
fabrics. The use of fabrics such as felt which are
not meant to be used in fashion, manipulated
creates something new. The signature Acrylic
hand painted felt gets naturally altered by the
used of it, almost as if the material was alive and
got time consumed.
Altered believes in the beauty of imperfection,
looking for beauty where it should not be, at list
not in a modern society, which is all about per-
fection, and the obsession to reach it through
plastic surgery or impossible body standard. The
customer, will feel beautiful and strong through
fragility and imperfection.
The collection focuses in getting the best of the
body , even deforming it, creating sculptural item
which are recognizable thanks to the iconic 3D
portraits placed in the garments and in the hills
of the shoes as well as the printed sole.
The liquefied logo reflects the codes and the sta-
tus items of the collection, such as the liquefied
skirt and coat.
The brand has a no logo policy and is recogniz-
able by signature elements such as edge dou-
ble stiches, expressionism inspired print(even
on leather), a lot of rounded cuts, a fluid design
in contrast with ticker fabrics and constructed
shapes
