Educare Central Maine provides early childhood education to low-income children and helps close the achievement gap. 100% of children who attended Educare for 3 years met or exceeded kindergarten readiness benchmarks. 95% of Educare children had typical or better protective factors. 91% of 4-year-olds had self-control skills at or above age level.
