1. Who I had in my film, why I cast them, and how I did
the casting.
2. As well as being the writer and director I chose him to be the lead actor and
protagonist because he has the best understanding of the back-story and how the
character he plays works. Having a n actor who can be the person they are acting
makes it realistic and more believable as a film. The lead plays two characters the
modern day assassin, and his ancestor from he 18th century, although this character
does not play that much a part compared to the other characters. Because the 18th
century assassin, Connor has his face hidden and barely talks, having Dominic to play
him meant eh had to get the movements for the character right, and he was able to
do this. To speak the way the assassin feels through movement. The modern day
assassin, Darius, does have more speech and more taxing scenes, such as climbing and
free running, Dominic was also a good choice because he was able to do most if not
all of his stunts.
3. Bladen Cross is plays the second lead
character, an enemy but earlier in the
film an ally. I chosen Bladen to play this
part because he was able to perform all
his stunts and was able play his
character well enough to make it
realistically, he was also able to bring
the character emotion as he is
conflicted on which side he must fight
on in the film.
Alexis Simmons is the female lead in
the 18th century setting of the film. She
plays an ally of Connor, and was good
for this part because she was able to
perform her own stunts. Her acting is
superb compared to other actresses
when I was choosing the cast.
