List of Speakers
Carla McSpadden: Director of Scientific Payer Engagement, Allergan, Plc
Carla graduated from Butler University with her Bachelors of Science degree in
Pharmacy in 1998. Throughout her professional career, she has worked in
various segments of pharmacy, including community, hospital, and long-term
care dispensing & consulting, and is board-certified in Geriatric Pharmacy. Carla
is currently work for Allergan, previously Actavis, and Forest prior to that. Her
current role involves providing clinical, health outcomes, and
pharmacoeconomic information on Allergan’s products to health plans, PBMs,
health systems, and long-term care organizations, as well as providing feedback
to internal colleagues on health policy changes and segment marketing.
Matt Vitale: US Payer Contract Development, Eli Lilly & Company
Matt Vitale’s career includes experiences in pharmaceutical industry, academia
and community pharmacy. Matt participated in Eli Lilly’s Visiting Scientist
Fellowship and currently works in Managed Healthcare Services at Lilly
USA. There he helps patients achieve access to Lilly products by contracting
with payers for formulary access. Matt was previously a national fellow of
Industry Pharmacists Organization and currently sits on the Board of the
Midwest Affiliate of AMCP.
Lauren Steinbach: Pharmaceutical Pricing Fellow, Myers and Stauffer LC
Lauren graduated from Butler University in 2016 with her PharmD and MBA
degrees. She is currently working as the Pharmaceutical Pricing Fellow at Myers
and Stauffer LC in their Indianapolis office. She also works part time as a
pharmacist for Walgreens. Outside of her fellowship, she worked to put together
the Butler Alternative Pharmacy Career Mentor Program this fall. While in
school, she completed an internship with Roche Diabetes Care in their Business
Analytics and Strategic Insights group. She also competed on Butler’s first
AMCP P&T Competition team. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time
with her husband and fur kids, running, hiking, and traveling.
Stevan Tomich: Nasal Glucagon Global Commercialization, Eli Lilly & Company
Stevan Tomich is a 2015 Butler graduate from the college of pharmacy and
health sciences. He was actively involved at Butler from Greek life, to SGA, and
BUCOP. He is currently a Visiting Scientist Fellow at Eli Lilly and Company in
Global Public Policy within Corporate Affairs. In his free time he is an avid
sports enthusiast and beginning to invest in real estate.

Kyle Frantz: Visiting Scientist Fellow, Eli Lilly & Company
Kyle Frantz currently works at Eli Lilly & Company as a visiting scientist fellow
in the global medical affairs operations organization within the oncology business
unit. Prior to the fellowship, Kyle worked as both a retail and hospital staff
pharmacist for one year after graduating from pharmacy school at Butler
University in 2015. Additionally, while in pharmacy school and prior to starting
the fellowship, Kyle worked for a start-up company specializing in connecting
patients to clinical trials around the world. As a student at Butler, Kyle served on
the board of directors for BUCOP and held numerous other roles/memberships
in student government and the student foundation.
Kelly Rogers: Statewide Director, Indiana University Health Home Infusion Services
Kelly received her BS Pharm from Purdue University in 1985. She has practiced
in four states, working in a variety of settings and roles, including central
pharmacy for several hospitals, decentralized clinical roles, retail, IV room
supervisor and as a project leader responsible for initiating pharmacy services in
a busy pediatric hospital operating room. In 1996 she returned to her Hoosier
roots in the Home Care Pharmacy at University Hospital, and she has served in
various clinical and leadership roles at Clarian/IU Health since that time. She
obtained her MBA in 2012 and is currently serving as Statewide Director for IU
Health Home Infusion Services. Kelly currently leads a 30+ person team
comprised of pharmacists, certified pharmacy technicians, customer service
specialists, a pharmacy buyer and a business operations supervisor.
Keith Fisher: Owner, Fisher RxIT Consulting, LLC
Over 25 years of experience in pharmacy benefit management and the
data used to support innovative clinical interventions and cost
containment, with a keen ability to interpret and analyze difficult subjects
like OBRA ’90, HIPAA Code Sets and Standards, Medicare
Modernization Act, CMS Part D Call Letters, and the Affordable Care Act
such that operational changes can be visualized and implemented within
new products and services. Contains the technical expertise and ability to
understand use cases within functional areas to provide leadership in areas
of clinical decision support, electronic prescribing, electronic prior
authorizations, measurements of quality pharmacy care, and interoperability to design and
implement state-of-the-art programs in pharmacy, provider, and payer systems.
