PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
10/2011- Present Texas Children’s Hospital Houston, TX
Pharmacy Technician
Duties include assisting pharmacists with dispensing and
distributing medication. Delivering medication to hospital units.
Works in the medical resource center. This is the phone answering
service in our pharmacy department. This requires great customer
service skills and Epic training. IV admixture hospital experience
including neonatal drips, epidural, chemo, and sterile drape
admixtures.
4/2011 – 9/2011 Walgreen’s Pharmacy Pearland, TX
Pharmacy Technician
Hired by Walgreen’s Pharmacy following Internship. Duties include
assisting pharmacist with dispensing and distributing medication,
verifying patient’s insurance and providing other services to
customers as needed.
2/2011- 3/2011 Walgreen’s Pharmacy Pearland, TX
Internship
Successfully completed 120 community pharmacy hours per my
Pharmacy Technician curriculum. Trained and evaluated to assist
pharmacist in dispensing medication, third party billing, providing
services to customers in the drive thru area of the pharmacy, answered
phone calls and verified patient’s insurance coverage.
