Carla Rodschat has been with Baxter for 19 years starting her career in 1997 as a contracted
Nurse Educator as part of the Nursing Network. In 1999, she joined Baxter as a fulltime Clinical
Specialist in the Electronic Infusion Systems Division. Two years later she took the opportunity
to move into sales where she worked for 5 years as an IV Therapy Specialist and then 5 years as
a Pharmacy Specialist. Combing her sales and clinical experience, Carla was promoted to the
Clinical Area Manager West position in 2010. Carla is a Registered Nurse with 25 + years
experience in a variety of clinical areas. While in sales, she won 4 Incentive trips, became a
member of the Distinguished Sales Club, and was inducted in the prestigious President’s Club.
She is a current member of American Organization Nurse Executives (AONE), the Society for
Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), and Association for Professionals in Infection
Control and Epidemiology (APIC). Carla lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Stacey Sticklen has been with Baxter for 13 years, mostly in Human Resource Business Partner
roles supporting numerous functions/businesses, for 6 of those years Stacey was part time
and for 3 years she was in roles dedicated to acquisitions. Recently, in 2013 she went back
full time to lead the Global Program Management Office for the HR Function during the
Gambro integration, integrating 8,000 employees in 38 countries. Currently, Stacey is Senior
Manager of Human Resources and supports the Surgical Care US business as well as the Global
Surgical Care Franchise. Prior to Baxter, Stacey spent an additional 10 years in Human
Resources Management roles for Medical Services, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing
companies. Stacey earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Illinois University, an MBA with
honors from DePaul University, and her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources)
certification from The Society of Human Resources Management. Stacey lives in Chicagoland
area with her husband and two sons.
Alan Mavis has worked at Baxter for 24 years, in successively greater roles of responsibility and
leadership within the sales organization. He began his career as a Sales Representative in Drug
Administration, Drug Delivery and Pharmacy. Currently, as Director / Integrated Health Solutions,
Alan has been instrumental in the development of customer-focused relationships at the C-Suite
level to build on innovative collaboration and partnership in large and complex hospital
integrated delivery networks across the United States. The IHS team is responsible for identifying
customer priorities stemming from healthcare reform and positioning Baxter’s “integrated
solutions offering” to address client’s needs for mutually beneficial outcomes. Alan’s areas of
expertise include: leading and developing effective teams and individuals for maximum
performance; strategic planning and execution; customer engagement; process and program
improvement; ability to matrix within an organization; and change management. Alan and his
wife live with their 3 children in Littleton, CO.

Beth Flaherty has been with Baxter for 27 years starting her career as a sales specialist in the
Clintec Nutrition division and continued working as a field sales representative for 16 years as a
Nutrition Specialist, Pharmacy Specialist and Area Field Trainer. Beth was promoted to a Region
Manager in the Northeast Area having responsibility for IV therapy and Pharmacy for 4 years
and then promoted to Area Vice President for Nutrition. As AVP, Beth has been responsible for
Nutrition and Pharmacy teams and is currently AVP for the Alternate Site business in Hospital
Products division. Beth is also a Registered Dietitian and holds a Master’s degree in Nutritional
Sciences. She is an active member of the Future Advisory Counsel for the National Home
Infusion Association and a member of Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. Beth lives in
CT with her husband and three daughters.
Donna Calabrese began her career with Baxter 25 years ago directly out of college and spent 5
years at Baxter in a variety of roles including Customer Service, Marketing, and Distribution,
earning several Leadership Excellence Awards. With an opportunity to get into Sales outside
of Baxter, Donna elected to explore a role outside of Baxter and spent 14 years at Johnson &
Johnson in a variety of Sales roles including Sales, Sales Training, Sales Management, &
Reimbursement where she accomplished numerous Sales Awards including multiple
President’s Trophy wins as well as Partnership Excellence Achievements. She was then
recruited to Stryker where she led efforts in Corporate Accounts to contract with IDN level
executives on multi-divisional agreements and for 3 consecutive years accomplished double-
digit growth. Donna was recruited back to Baxter BioScience in 2013 to lead efforts as
Regional Business Director in the Hemophilia Franchise until which point she transitioned into
her AVP role for the Central Medication Delivery Area in October 2014. Donna has her
Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University and her MBA
in Sales & Marketing Management from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Donna resides in
Saint Charles, IL, a suburb West of Chicago with her husband and two children.
Melissa Granato - Has been a highly successful top performer in medical sales for over 20
years, 18 years in device sales, and starting her 12th year with Baxter on the BioSurgery sales
team. Melissa has held 3 field sales positions, and currently is the reigning Region Manager of
the Year from the South Texas Region. Melissa is the WLIF Texas/Oklahoma Chapter Co-Lead
and she is also on the Field Inclusion and Diversity task force. She has been married for 21
years and is raising a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. Melissa's educational
background includes a Bachelor in Business Administration and Marketing from the University
Of Texas in San Antonio, which is where she resides with her family.
