This letter is a reference for Lauren Rosenthal, an art therapist applying for a position in Craig Siegel's clinical art therapy department. The letter writer, Myra Levick, has supervised Lauren since 2013 as she works toward her ATR certification. Lauren currently works at a psychotherapy center with patients on the autism spectrum. Levick believes Lauren has the credentials for a school setting and has experience with an art therapy assessment used in Siegel's program. The letter recommends Lauren for her diligence in learning new theories and completing additional reading assignments.

Dear Craig,
This letter is a reference for Lauren Rosenthal, an art therapist who is applying for
a position in your department.
Lauren has been in supervision with me since July, 2013, working toward
achieving her ATR. She is a graduate of Pratt, NYC, 2010, and is currently
employed at the Cadenza Center for Psychotherapy and the Arts. The population
she is working with is primarily patients diagnosed on the spectrum of autism and
includes children, teens and adults.
This is certainly a most demanding population and she is now looking to change
her work environment and patient load. She learned about the program in your
department while still a student and hoped to be part of that program in the future.
I believe she has the necessary credentials for employment in a school setting.
In her work with me she has also learned and experienced the implementation of
the LECATA, an art therapy assessment used by the art therapists in your
program.
Lauren has worked very hard to learn and integrate new theories and approaches in
her therapeutic process with her patients. She has also followed up on reading
assignments I have provided her with. I believe she will apply this same dilligence
to a position in your program.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to write or call.
Most sincerely yours,
Myra F. Levick
