1. Cassandra Rogers,LCSW (Biography)
Cassandra Rogers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) that specializes in Perinatal
Depression, PTSD, and MDD. Mrs. Rogers has been providing Clinical services to individuals,
groups, and families for over 10 years. Mrs. Rogers obtained a Bachelors of Social Work degree
(BSW) from West Chester University and held the Office of Vice President of the Phi Alpha
Epsilon Honor Society. Mrs. Rogers went on to receive her Masters of Social Work degree
(MSW) from Widener University where she also graduated with honors. Mrs. Rogers has
extensive training in Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Therapy
working with various populations. Mrs. Rogers currently is the acting Director of Family
Outreach and Education Initiatives at Intercultural Family Services Inc. and also supervises the
Case Management Unit for the Philadelphia Department of Public Health’s Healthy Start
Program.
PDPD Healthy Start Program(Overview)
The Philadelphia Healthy Start Program is a federally funded program which seeks to engage
pregnant or parenting women particularly women in the first trimester of their pregnancy and
provide a variety of health and social services which included Case Management/home visiting,
depression screening, health education and other services that will promote positive birth
outcomes, infant health, and optimal child health and development .The vision of the PDPH
