1. Use the critical thinking entry and exit tickets at a literacy
center. Students complete tickets when they finish work early.
2. Select, print, and post one slide from each of the six domains
of Bloom’s Taxonomy at a literacy center. Students respond to
one ticket from each of the domain slides. Students respond
to the tickets on notebook paper or using one of the printable
templates on Slides 75 or 76.
3. Post any informational or fictional text at a literacy center.
Post any of the 230 tickets or slides for students to complete.

tickets with a
partner before
giving it to the
teacher.
Slides
Project the ticket
slides, and provide
students with a

Option 1: Print Slide 76, which is the worksheet entitled “Blow the Roof Off
with Critical Thinking.” Then print and post around the perimeter of the
classroom six slides--one slide from each of Bloom’s domains. Students move
freely (or call time after 3 minutes at each) from slide to slide answering on their
worksheets one of the four ticket questions located on each posted slide.
Option 2: For an entry or exit ticket, students doodle, sketch, or draw three
concepts that they know or have learned from the lesson. Students can use
images or words. Afterwards, display students’ doodles, and have a gallery walk
for a concept review. Use the templates on Slides 77 and 78.

Author’s Note
Hello!
Thank you so much for previewing, purchasing, and providing
feedback for this product. I am grateful! This resource contains 73
entry tickets and 157 exit tickets that can be used in any class
across the curriculum. If you are looking for no prep, project an
entry or exit ticket slide and have students answer the ticket
questions on notebook paper or post-it notes. I have included
various worksheet template printables and tickets for students’
responses, as well. This resource contains low level and high level
critical thinking questions, which makes it a great resource for
differentiated instruction across and within grade levels. Please
