Weekly Progress
After, I studied what is Sony D7C5 Protocal and how is work. In this week I designed a circuit of
remote transmitter and writing program in PIC16F877A to generate signal when got a signal in each
input. First time in programimg I got a little problem, that is PIC16F877A dosen’t generate a signal
when it get input signal already. I tried to solve this problem by debugger in compliler then I
founded, I modify this code and tried to made it work immediately. Although I finished in
programming I still had a problem in transmitter case.That is transmitter sent signal too short just
5 cm., it’s closer than before gernerate signal. I measured output of microprocessor by used
electical multi meter in VDC mode, I founded the voltage in output pin was droped and I realized I
should to design a new IR driver part to amplify power of sending better. However, I’m still testing
it right now and waiting for result.

Right now, no longer a problem about programming in transmitter.
Week Point
When the outputs from microprocessor have a frequency, voltage will drop. I can’t control or solve it
right now. I’m still finding some how to make it work.
