(f) Teaching
Development of a curriculum and supervision of CHEM4681/4683 – Advanced Chemistry Lab
class at the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Georgia Tech. This class has been very
successful in promoting students interest in research careers. Three undergraduate students
continued their studies at Georgia Tech as graduate students, six others enrolled in top graduate
schools. The results of the experiments conducted by the undergraduate students were
published in highly-ranked journals.
Mentoring six ten-week summer research program (SURE) students designed to attract qualified
minority students into graduate school in the fields of engineering and science. Supervision of
three high school students from local and out-of-state schools. The results of the experiments
conducted by the high school and undergraduate students are published in a high-profile journal.
2008-present. Teamteaching “Physical Organic Chemistry” course with Prof. Laren Tolbert.

(f) Teaching Development of a curriculum and supervision of CHEM4681/4683 – Advanced Chemistry Lab class at the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Georgia Tech. This class has been very successful in promoting students interest in research careers. Three undergraduate students continued their studies at Georgia Tech as graduate students, six others enrolled in top graduate schools. The results of the experiments conducted by the undergraduate students were published in highly-ranked journals. Mentoring six ten-week summer research program (SURE) students designed to attract qualified minority students into graduate school in the fields of engineering and science. Supervision of three high school students from local and out-of-state schools. The results of the experiments conducted by the high school and undergraduate students are published in a high-profile journal. 2008-present. Teamteaching “Physical Organic Chemistry” course with Prof. Laren Tolbert.
