Research interests:
PBO develops advanced mass spectrometry instrumentation and methods that can be used to more fully
characterise biomedical samples, and collaborating with biomedical researchers to form a solid understanding
of the molecular basis of various biological activities, including diseases. As such, most of his research
involves improving mass spectrometry instrumentation capabilities in terms of resolution, accuracy, sensitivity,
etc for analysis of protein sequence and modifications.
