This document discusses General English pedagogy and strategies to overcome its limitations. It notes that General English focuses equally on all four language skills but lacks sufficient interaction, communication skills development, and engagement for learners. To address this, it recommends using communicative language teaching methods with activities like role plays and group work to make learning more interactive and enjoyable. It also suggests incorporating icebreaker activities to develop soft skills and using various teaching media like videos and pictures to keep students engaged.
