Work Experience
May-July 2019 CSIR - Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute
Summer Research Intern, Supervisor: Mr. Satish Bindal
• Researched on estimating the physical activities of an individual using an accelerometer and
a barometer.
• This project which was in collaboration with Samsung India, involved developing various
algorithms in MATLAB and later incorporate them onto hardware.
Selected Projects
Nov 18- Present Drone Control by Brainwave Mapping
Supervisors: Dr. Veeky Baths (Associate Prof. and Dean- Alumni Relations)
Dr. A. Amalin Prince (Associate Prof. and HOD-Electrical and Electronics Engineering)
• The main aim is to develop a quadcopter which can be controlled by mapping the EEG waves
of the wearer of an EEG headset.
• Currently we are using the EMOTIV EPOC+, a 14 channel mobile and non-invasive headset to
extract the raw EEG data and develop a classifier for performance metrics using Cykit (an open
source python library)
Apr 19- Present Object Avoiding Delivery Drone
Supervisor:Dr. Sarang Dhongdi (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• The project is aimed to develop a completely autonomous obstacle-avoiding and payload car-
rying aerial vehicle using a depth camera (Intel Realsense d435i).
• Simulations were carried out using PX4 environment in Gazebo
Jan 18- July 19 Project Pinaka -Solar Powered Endurance UAV
Supervisor: Dr. Shibu Clement
• The project’s main aim was to develop an endurance glider having the capabilities of transvers-
ing long distances using the concept of soaring.
• Worked as the Head of Electronics towards choosing the right MPPT for the required design
specifications.
July 18 - Jan 19 Project Kratos
Developing a Mars Rover for participation in the University Rover Challenge
• Member of the Robotic Arm subsystem and worked towards performing the inverse kinemat-
ics for the joint movement.
Feb 19 - Apr 19 IC Tester
Course Project for Microprocessors and Interfacing
• Worked on assembly level programming for an x86 processor and simulated the same on
Proteus.
