Three year Bachelor of Science Geography degree (forecasting a
2:1 honours degree) at the University of Northampton. The course
involved all aspects of physical geography and a number of aspects
with human geography. In the final year I focussed heavily on the
water resource management, geographers at work, understanding
change in physical geography and dryland environments. My final
year dissertation focused on reconstructing past climatic conditions
based on proxies with lake sediments.
An active social member of the university including captaining both

centre/swimming pool in Letchworth. Working in the holiday periods
my responsibilities include ensuring the safety of customers, helping
the day to day running of the centre and occasional complaint
management.
ILoveTour
2013 - 2014 (Easter)
Working as a student assistant in Salou, Spain, within the largest

Halfords
2011 - 2013 (Part-time)
As a sales assistant for the bicycle department my main focus was
to exceed personal quarterly sales targets, which were always
achieved. My success was down to my friendly approachability,
extensive knowledge of the products and enthusiasm coupled with
my ability to finalise the sale effectively. Additionally, I was able to
assist with other departments within the store, such as car
maintenance.
3. Self employed Paper Delivery Business.
Sep’07 – Sep’12
As a young teenager, following a change in legislation, I set up a
self-run paper delivery business. Initially this involved finding
customers, agreeing a fee, co-ordinating other paper boys
(including recruitment) and working closely with the local
newsagent. The business, which still runs today, required close,
friendly customer service and managing payment arrangements
with both the customers and local newsagent.
