I am a recent graduate from Robert Gordon University,with a 2:2 honours degree in Applied Social Sciences. Having just taken 8
months out to travel New Zealand to immerse myself in a different culture I feel I have not only gained a new perspective, but I
have also learned some valuable life lessons. I am now ready to start focussing on my career. Utilising both my experience
gained abroad as a hostel manager and my transferableskills oriented education, I am looking for any opportunities to enhance
my education and skills in any field

o Throughout my experience as a student I had to organisemy time around university deadlines whilealso maintaininga
job and social life.
o I gained experience in organising events by arranginga “wheelchair awareness day”at university where students were
sponsored to use a wheelchair all day to get around campus. The event raised awareness for disabled accessibility
around the university grounds and money for a fellowclassmateto make the psychology lab door automatic.
Initiative and Proactive Attitude
o As a direct entry student I voluntarily represented the university’s degree link with North East Scotland Collegeby
givingtalks to students currently studyingan HND and encourage them to continue their higher education experience
at university.
o I volunteered as a student ambassador atRGU which included meeting and greeting with prospectivestudents.
o I undertook an unpaid position atNomads Hostel in order to gain managerial experience.
Information Technology
o Completed Higher Computing duringsecondary school.
o Familiarwith SPSS, Word Processor and spreadsheetprogrammes.
